Upon getting my ring, it came with a âcertificate âonly afterwards did I worry that the gemstones themselves are not laser engraved on the girdles to guarantee where the stones actually came from. Thatâs OK, itâs been six months. Took my husbandâs ring in to get the six month cleaning and rhodium dip. Itâs engraved on the inside, I was told it would look exactly as I bought it. Had to wait 24 hours to get it back, they just brought it to me. The ring is a plain White gold band. It was returned to me with scratches, Mars and etchings where there should not have been any. I was informed upon dropping it off that the Inside where the engraving was would not be touched. The engraving is almost gone. Iâm glad I took a video before I dropped it off! They sat and argued with me for 10 minutes that thatâs what it supposed to look like! Only before finally admitting defeat saying will need you to re-write the engraving Again because we canât read anything that was once on it⌠LOLLOLLOL âI am livid, and crying! They said theyâre going to file the ring down but it wonât takeoff any of the width.⌠I donât want that! I want the ring that I had ordered with the engraving that was ordered on it! Do not take your jewelry here unless you donât value it at all!
UPDATE: had to leave the ring for an additional 24 hours for fixing. Just got it back again. It is much much much better! They did take it down a little bit from its original width which bothers me quite a bit. Three managers assisted and agreed that it was in fact a different measurement than the original. They offered me a full replacement. I appreciate the work that they did this time unfortunately, I am going to give them a two star rating only because this shouldâve never happened. I was also informed that each time it gets cleaned it does get buffed down quite significantly. They said that overtime the ring would become so thin that it would break. My question is is after only six months, why would it have to be buffed out so hard!? It wasnât damaged it just needed itâs six-months-under-warranty Maintenance. With the way it looks, and as much as they took off of it, I am afraid that within 3 to 4 years the ring would be a piece of tissue paper in weight. I have had many pieces of jewelry in my lifetime as has my mother and my father and my grandparents. I do remember my grandmotherâs ring finally breaking after 72 years of constant wear. Itâs actually quite frightening how they âpolish ârings nowadays. I would give the management five stars, unfortunately due to the lies and the poor service that I have received in the past, this will suffice at two.âŚ
MHO, Rogers jewelers is amazing⌠And has been for over 50 years. Never once have I ever had an issue with sizing after my rings are...
Read moreCathy is extraordinary rude, condescending, and incompetent. We came in for a resize and to ask if we could solder the wedding rings and if that would work. She said absolutely.
I came in two days to pick it up. Cathy sized the rings wrong and told us that we would have to wait another day. Accidents happen, we understand that. She then extremely rudely asked "are you able to pay for this?" I said that I'm able to pay for this but will not until the work is done.
We come back the next day (for a third time), and blessedly, Cathy wasn't there. Joseph was there. He was very nice and told us that the soldering would not work with these rings and we would have to remove the solder, and that the ring was not sized right. While a little annoyed, we said we would come back the next day.
We come back the next day, and Cathy wasn't there again. Two ladies helped us who were very nice and said that the ring was sized wrong. Everyone started claiming that my wife dropped 1.5 ring size in two days. Anatomically impossible. We then explored options for sizing the rings and if asked how ring size was measured (because I did not know). The jeweler did not either... we had to come back yet again.
The next day, I call Jared to tell them that I can't pick the ring up that day because I'm out of town. They say ok then an hour later, Cathy calls me to hassle me when im coming in. I inform her I'm unavailable and will be there tomorrow or the next day. She starts then pressuring me and asking for specific times. This business is never packed and always walk in.
I come in two days later to pick the ring up. We were greeted by a woman who criticized my wifes clothing passive aggressively. I did not want to work with Cathy and we were helped by someone else. Cathy butted in and started taking over. The original lady who was helping us first accidentally gave us the ring to put on backwards. It was an accident it happens, my wife put it on backwards and Cathy nudged her friend and laughed at my wife. TheThe ring was still too big, but I was fed up and will end up going elsewhere. Cathy then insisted I pay for their mistakes and was extremely rude. She also was extremely condescending as if I could not pay for this. I paid for it even though she overcharged me and absolutely gouged me. She could not give me a price breakdown. She gave me two different prices for a warranty. It was worth it to never deal with her again. I will drive more than an hour to a different jared to never deal with her again. Cathy cannot do simple math, she is rude, pushy, impersonable and condescending. The store would do well to terminate her.
I came in for a simple ring size and maybe a solder. The incompetence displayed her is...
Read moreThe worst experience Iâve ever had shopping. My bf and I came in looking for a promise ring and when we told the lady she said Iâve should had guessed by the look of you guys. Everything she said was extremely condescending and rude, I had kindly asked if I can be sized for a ring twice and got ignored the first time and she continued showing me rings without asking me what I like or wanted to see. The second time I asked she said letâs start with a price limit, we gave it to her and she looked at us like if we are stupid and said how sad are you able to raise the price limit. I had said no because itâs not an engagement ring and we didnât want to spend on a promise ring when we would be getting an engagement ring a year or two later. She then said then donât even bother with a ring diamond and get a basic band and later add on the ring. She completely discourage us from even shopping with this company based on how she was acting towards us. You can tell when someone is being rude and ugly and that exactly how she made me and my bf feel. Iâm not the type to write a review but I just want others to know this information before shopping here so they know to have a heads up. All I can say is we ended up Leaving because of how horrible the service was. We did end up finding the perfect ring with our price limit and it was exactly what I wanted this was right after we decided to check out a different jeweler and we had a way better experience going...
