Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Panama City Beach

Pizza hut needs to put DON in charge of all pizzas!! You would do much better putting him in charge of the whole place. I know you have been losing business with him gone. Can we at least request that he make them when we order? I need his days off, please.

ONLY ORDER PIZZA WHEN DON (I just asked him his name when he delivered my pizza on 09/11 even though he has delivered here a lot over the years) IS WORKING because he makes a 5 star pizza! For years I ordered from my office regularly and it was the best! I filled out a couple of the surveys that pizza hut sends in the last few months because the food was horrible. I had basically given up. The dough is overproofed and when you order "pan" pizza and pay extra, it was thinner than the hand tossed and the SAUCE...Why is there pretty much no sauce on it? Over proofed, over cooked and dry pizza. Disgusting! What was the difference? Don was no longer delivering or making pizzas.

I got desperate and ordered a pizza on 09/11 and ordered extra sauce thinking it would be at least edible that way maybe. Much to my surprise Don delivered my pizza. He told me he had taken some time off. Lucky me, he made my pizza and when I tell you it was delicious...I am not lying! The pan crust was big and crispy again, the perfect amount of sauce and cheese and the pizza wasn't cooked to death. He makes a pizza that is exactly like the original pizza hut pizza. I was thrilled and ordered another pizza yesterday and Don delivered it but didn't make it. It was awful. Even asking for extra sauce got me nearly no sauce at all, the crust was thinner than hand tossed and overproofed and the pizza was dried out and overcooked!

Pizza hut, save yourself and those of us pizza lovers who are about to quit you and put DON in charge. Whoever is in charge now isn't up to the job. Maybe you will read these reviews since you aren't paying attention to...

I was driving into the parking lot in normal speed. As i was breaching the store, a door dasher was backing up while i was right behind her. What she was doing was trying to correct her parking spot. I didnt know till i blew the horn & let her know im behind her. So long story short, as i finish parking i see this Crew member runs out to ask her if she okay! Looking at me with a mug as if i did something wrong. So i immediately yells “are you okay because i was right behind you??” She didn’t answer. But the crew members ( caucasian guy) YELLS AT ME VERY AGGRESSIVELY, saying i need to watch how fast I’m driving & kept going on and on about how he see so many accidents a day in this parking lot. See this is a person that wanted to argue about something he took the wrong way. I was shocked because the whole time he thought i was a VISTOR .(yelling & cursing) So i was trying to tell him & her that i wasn’t speeding . He argued over me & my opinion like it didn’t matter. Pushed her in the store & brushed me off bc he knew he was wrong.5 minutes later the DASHER comes out and say “I’m okay i knew i was in the wrong. That guy seem to have a big issue & he’s very rude about the situation “ she apologized. I accepted it and she departed! I walked back in the store to get the corporate number. I asked him (the same guy) he told me you smart. “Go look it up”. I was so confused on why he was treating me like this. So he started to say im smarter then you remember. I will call the cops. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and wings. The pizza was cold and Matt, the driver, was sarcastic and condescending. I will never again order from this Pizza Hut or leave a tip in advance.

We were staying less than 6 blocks from the store at the Laketown Wharf condos on a slow night the week after Labor Day -- off season by local standards. The place may have been 20% full. Not only did the order take 45 minutes to arrive, the driver called and TOLD us to meet him downstairs. The friend I was staying with is an owner.
