We take our pup everywhere we go, so when it was family vacation time our young German Shepard came to the beach with us. She is a wonderful dog, but spent every day barking at and jumping on my 85 year old grandmother (trying to be playful). She likes to get under our feet when we walk and I was terrified she would accidentally cause my grandmother to trip. I made the difficult decision to board her in a new place for the rest of the trip. At the end of the first day, they sent me her report. They were honest that she was skittish with the other dogs. I worried about this all night. At 7:30am I was literally at their door waiting for them to open. I watched as two other dogs ran to the door and wagged their tails staring hard at the door handle as they waited for their owner to catch up. They both practically leaped into the building when the door opened. I took this as a good sign. I went in and told the owner Iâd be picking up my dog early. While I stood in the lobby talking to the owner and loving on my pup, I realized my dog was whimpering and pulling me pulling me towards the back rooms. She wanted to stay. I handed her leash over to the owner and my dog ran excitedly towards the back, never even looking my way. Her tail was wagging and I realized that the worry was unfounded. The next few nights I received photo, video, and written updates. She was slowly becoming more comfortable with other dogs. I knew the caregivers played with her because they mentioned her favorite game, which would have only been discovered while they played. The videos showed a happy pup. I loved that the owners were honest with me about how my puppy was adjusting. I appreciated the updates. We visit Panama City Beach often. I plan to treat my pup to day time fun when we come here, even if we visit without my...
Read moreLeaving our 4-month-old Golden Retriever, Lemon, behind for a week was a tough decision, but Zoomies Pet Hotel in Pensacola made it so much easier. We were out of town for 7 days and 6 nights, and from the moment we dropped Lemon off, we knew she was in good hands. It was a huge relief to see how much care and attention they gave her.
What really stood out was the constant communicationâwe got pictures twice a day, showing Lemon playing and socializing, plus detailed daily reports on how she was doing. Each update gave us such peace of mind and made us feel like we were still right there with her.
One of the daily updates read: âWe had another awesome day with Lemon today! During group play, Lemon had an absolute blast running around the play yard with her friends, chasing each other, and rolling around together. Lemon showed off her silly side a bit today, and we love to see it! This sweet pup is doing amazing!â
It was clear that the staff wasnât just doing their jobâthey truly enjoyed spending time with Lemon and were committed to her well-being. The professional yet loving atmosphere made us confident that we made the right choice.
All in all, Zoomies Pet Hotel turned out to be more than just a boarding facilityâit felt like a second home for Lemon. Weâll definitely be coming back whenever we need to board her or just for doggy daycare and we canât recommend them enough!

Read moreI LOVE ZOOMIES!!!! I left my pup, Kirby, with the wonderful team at Zoomies for a few days this week. I was SO nervous at first because my only previous boarding experience was very disappointing and I honestly didnât think Iâd ever board my dogs again. However, I had no choice and I found Zoomies! The reviews donât lie - this place is amazing and fully staffed of dog lovers.
Tim was so, so wonderful and helped calm all my anxieties. He called me several times to update me on how Kirby was doing. The first night Kirby was very stressed and didnât want to leave his suite. Tim worked with him until he was comfortable enough to come out into the yard. Also, the daily report and pictures were such a wonderful addition that put my mind at ease. He had such a great time with the staff and the other dogs. Kirby didnât want to eat one day, and they informed me and even mixed some yummy wet food into his breakfast to entice him. It worked! They truly care about your dogs and will make sure our babies are taken care of!
Thank you, Zoomies! Will 100% be coming back if Iâm ever in the...
