If I could give it a none, I would. My sister and I went in so she could exchange a gift and we could grab Starbucks in one fell swoop. She went up to the exchange line where there seemed to be a bit of a crowd, so I stayed to the side so she could complete her transaction. During this time the cashier said she couldn't return both items, only one item at a time. Confused, she turned over to get my attention to see if I could do one as well so she didn't have to come back. The cashier said, "no, you can't, it has to be you". She understood. Cashier told her, if she would like she could just exchange both the items for something else. Still a bit confused at the logic, she said,"ok"and they gave her a smaller target bag to hold the items in for the time being. We went and got the item to exchange the others for. Again, I stood to the side to not be in anyone else's way checking out. Then a very aggressive store manager came over telling her in a very loud manner that she COULD NOT do so and that this was the last time he would ask her. Confused, she asked him if he was the guy she spoke to last, since she had just been told she was able to exchange. He said, "Yes, I am and I will not ask again". Very abrasive he pointed at me and said," this is the last time I will tell you, you can not exchange do that and I will not do it again, you need to leave". This manager was blatantly lying to us about serving us earlier. The guy who we had originally spoke to was completely different, dark hair, taller. Yet we did not think to catch his name because this is not an issue at a store. This guy had light hair, named "Chris". We were completely dumbfounded. Treated as though we were criminals. Plus on top of myself, not even touching the bag, nor even knowing what she was even exchanging and just waiting for her to finish (I was visiting out of town for the weekend). To call me into it/"out" in such an abrupt manner as if one of us was trying to steal or pull the wool over someones eyes in a criminal fashion. Even after telling him that I had nothing to do with this exchange, what-so- ever. He fought me telling me that I did and he wouldn't deal with it. It was completely horrifying. We were so completely caught off guard, we had no idea at that point how to handle this situation. I have never in my life been treated so badly in a customer service industry, much less a normally well run corporation. Still trying to make sense of it all, but it was highly embarrassing and we will not...
Read moreWe have been to this location many times and honestly really no issues. The shelves were a little more bare than we are used to but the staff was good and the lines were short at the register. I wish Pizza Hut was still open around dinner time but Starbucks is a great treat while shopping. I recommend to stop in any time.

Read moreStarbucks at Target Pier Park has one of the most unhappy "barista" crew's I have ever met! Being from Seattle, WA where SB is born & bred (corporate) I am used to helpful, happy, barista's that are happy to serve their customers, but also treat you with respect. Not only am I a loyal gold member of Starbucks, I am also a local employee that attends this Starbucks almost DAILY. I am not one to point fingers, however, Kelsey (I believe her name is) has the absolute worst attitude, and is beyond unhappy every single time I see her. At first I thought it was because Kelsey was having a bad day, however after frequently coming in - her attitude is consistently awful, and not only directed to me, but to every customer! The way she treats people is pretty poor, and she shows zero enthusiasm about being an employee, whether for Target or Starbucks. The only one that seems somewhat helpful every time is Olivia. It wasn't until recently I've become so fed up I have to post to not only warn other customers, but in hopes of management seeing how unacceptable it is to be treated with such disrespect! It is very upsetting and I am...
