Atelier — Restaurant in Panama City

I was hesitant to write this review in that I wanted to give it another try after it being a new business. I went the first month or two it was open and friends bought a bottle of champagne($55) and were told it would be out on ice while drinking and it was not. Bartenders were so busy making specialty drinks it took a VERY long time to get ice once were handed the warm bottle, that was the first visit. The second visit was with 2 friends and we had just left the 30 A area and heading home and stopped in for a drink. 3 regular vodka drinks, not doubles, nothing special were$48. WE were charged $2.00 for each drink that had cranberry in it, that was surprising, and the very young server forgot mine and after my friends had drank theirs 1.2 way I asked and she said it was being "prepared" a vodka and sprite. I didn't expect 30A prices in downtown PC. I could go to Harrisons and get that same drink with a water view for much less. Please consider lowering your prices to match the population served. Very nice wine bar Downtown. Atmosphere is great, music was great and quiet enough to be able to still talk. I think they need a greater selection of wines for the prices they’re charging, most of those wines are grocery store varieties And for the price, I would expect something a little more Unique, or at least out of the usual cabs and Pinot Grigio Also, Service was OK. The servers were very nice and friendly but kind of clueless brought us a charcuterie tray with nothing to slice the cheese with or napkins. We arrived here at 4:00 pm a party of 7 .. Ordered our drinks at the bar and sat at a table ....I thought the drinks would be served at our table but we had to get our drinks and clear our empty drinks.. We did Ordered Appetizers in which thankfully they were served .. Four employees behind the bar , one watching a lacrosse game , you would think you would have better service ...

Apparently the Manager was not on scene or didn't care !!

Appetizers were delicious , atmosphere was okay at 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
