Bar at Times Square — Restaurant in Paradise

I am so surprised to see these bad reviews. Our experience was completely different. My sister and I found this place after the Mad Apple show on Wednesday 2/5. Due to some untimely injuries, my sister and I both were on scooters. The guy at the door, my apologies, I don't remember his name, was very kind. He made a spot for us to park our scooters and informed us that on the right there were chairs with a cover charge and on the left was SRO at the bar. Since it was late we decided to pass when the doorman offered to bring us stools if we wanted to go to the bar. How nice. We had only intended to stay for a bit anyway. The bartender Mike greeted us with a sweet smile. We ordered some wine. $15.00 a glass which is pretty standard for Vegas and a decent size pour. I am a career bartender and found Mike to be very attentive. His bar was busy, yet he kept an eye on our drinks always making sure they were full. We chatted a bit, talked about the Eagles band. I showed him the Eagles tattoo I have on my arm. I wanted to take him home with me. 😯 We did send a song request in with a $5.00 bill. Our song was not played but we just assumed they had several requests in front of ours. We stayed longer than planned as we were having such a good time and the entertainment was absolutely awesome!! 👏👏👏👏Everything a piano bar should be! (i.e. Men warmed up the early/cold audience slowly trickling in, for the women to blow our socks off! 😻) Glad we stayed so long to see the momentum build! Great layout. Perfect size bar. Hands down: BEST piano bar short of the real BigApple.

VIDEOS: Adam & Marty playing my 1st request; NAILED it! Women: Dirty Dancing song: 1st time they’d played it, but they didn’t miss a beat! (Stunning musicianship across the both of them.) Bohemian Rhapsofy: My 2nd request; CRUSHED IT! Video speaks for itself…they absolutely brought down the house 🔥 (BTW: Please don’t insult them and expect this marathon of a song for under $100!!! Don’t worry: worth every penny!)

NOTES: 1st: Expect it to get LOUD (and ask for earplugs if u need them.) Due to that: The TABLES desperately need a simple, numbered drink menu in large font, so u can just POINT to order drinks. (I was only served Sprite all night b/c server never asked if I’d like to change it up 🤷🏻‍♀️

2nd: She was right: Whoever the shell thought the new pianos’ paintjobs was a good selection must’ve been drunk! Manager needs to hire a proper graphic designer for a rewrap….ASAP! I am writing this on behalf of my wife. She and her 5 friends visited the bar on the last night to celebrate a 40th birthday. This was supposed to be a wonderful experience especially as they were visitors to the country from the UK. The gentleman on the door and she uses that term loosely was the most rude and obnoxious human being and certainly should not be in a customer service role. His name was Jorge. My wife asked to speak to the manager to which Jorge supposedly called but instead called 5 security guards to escort off the premises!!!!! For what reason, we have no idea, I can only presume it was because my wife wanted to speak with the manager because of his rude behaviour. My wife and her friends felt threatened, vulnerable and extremely intimidated. The security guards were actually very pleasant to my wife and her friends and actually said that Jorge was renound for being obnoxious and rude and they wanted to take us to another bar in the hotel that was better and show us that not all staff are as rude as Jorge was. Reading some of the reviews, there is a common theme there and I would respectfully ask that you look into your staff and their behaviour. If I could rate you less than 1 star, i would.
