Accidently ran across this fun cantina on our Big Red Bus tours while in Las Vegas!! Our server Waun, was warm and welcoming and alot of fun! We did order the chicken nachos, though tasty, the presentation was less desirable as it was all stuffed in a small bowl and hard to eat. We did order Margaritas which I thought were very good but because the nachos didn't come out quite the way we expected the manager Kevin stepped in and was more than gracious to remake them on a plated platter which was easier to share. Very tasty queso ..Out of his graciousness he wanted to make sure we enjoyed our time there... he gave us complimentary cucumber Margarita to taste test, which were the most outstanding freshest tasting drink ..would 100% recommend that drink. Smooth and fresh!! We were celebrating a birthday and we got to try the chocolate churros!! Outstanding!! But I think what made our whole experience was our server Waun and the manager Kevin he is a hoot. Very witty very personable, down to earth guy!! He brought us to belly laughs ..he really needs his own show in Vegas. You could see him going from table to table making sure all his guests were taken care of and everybody was laughing and having a good time, he seems to care about his patrons it's a very cool atmosphere as it's open and Airy within the Luxor and the murals on the walls are beautiful. It was supposed to be a quick stop but we had so much fun we were there for a an hour and a half.. all the food that was coming out looked amazing unfortunately I did not try any of the main dishes. I would definitely go back. We asked Kevin to join us for a quick pic before we left!!

Overall the experience was just "okay" The service was relatively slow for not being packed, took about 15 minutes to finally get chips and salsa. We actually ordered the $12 guacamole and received that first but couldn't even eat it because the chips took another 10 minutes to come out. Expect to pay Vegas prices here. Out of the 6 dishes we had the only one that was bursting with flavor was the chicken burrito. Also had the fajita trio with steak, chicken, and shrimp. Although it looked amazing, it was lacking flavor and sat in a pool of grease. It all tasted like it was lacking salt and seasonings. Spent over $200 here and honestly was not impressed. I don't know if it was the area they seated us at but we were not being taken care of and constantly forgotten. Ohh! Almost forgot, also one of us ordered the Salmon and it literally came out raw and cold in the middle. The waiter took it back but I kid you not the rest of us COMPLETELY finished our meals by the time the new salmon dish was brought out. You would think the restaurant would compensate you in some way for the terrible experience but unfortunately that was not the case. All in all we won't be back next time we're in town and will definitely warn others to stay away. It's ashame because the Luxor is such a beautiful building and this restaurant sits perfectly in the middle. We really wish we had a better experience because it was our last meal in town before heading home. Like I said the food looked great but lacked any flavor. If you're in the mood for Mexican food I recommend skipping Diablos and looking elsewhere.

The restaurant location was convenient, booking was easy, plenty of availability, atmosphere was fine, casual. Service was OK, not great. Food was bad. Price was fine. The only reason I picked this restaurant was the rain. I didn’t feel like getting wet by going outside to another place. Booking was pretty easy, and there was plenty of availability. Atmosphere was fine, casual, beautiful design at the bar area; however, service wasn’t that great and the food was pretty bad. I ordered salmon with salad, my salmon was hard outside, fine inside and the salad dressing was extremely spicy. My other party ordered pork and it was burned about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch like a completely black coal. It also smelled nasty like an old fat - made me want to vomit just from that smell. That meal hurt my partner’s stomach. We unfortunately didn’t have time to request a meal change and had to leave as we had other plans after the dinner. Nobody asked us how was the food at the beginning when it was just brought out to our table. Our server was very polite and pleasant with a smile on her face, she asked us how was everything at the end of the meal and when I told her it wasn’t that great she probably didn’t understand me and provided the check. We did not have time to get into the details and wanter to pay and leave and never come back. On a good side it was pretty affordable, but because of the food quality, I think it was not worth it. They’re probably called Diablo’s for a reason…

So myself and 5 others went here for dinner this week. I read the reviews and thought it would be good. Unfortunately it was not. We ordered our food and stated that we were 3 couples and wanted 3 separate bills. The waiter said no problem. Then a few mins later the manager came over stating "I hear there is a problem." None of us had any idea what he was talking about. He then proceeds to tell us he cannot split the bill 3 ways, but provided no explanation as to why. We stated that was fine, we would figure it out. His tone was quite assertive/agressive bordering on rude. From there the evening got worse:

a) We never were provided water, although at the end of the meal asked if we would like our waters toped up. To which I replied, we never received any. b) We had to ask for cutlery as the food was served and we had no way of eating it. c) 3 of us ordered a Fajitas (2 chicken and 1 steak). Normally Fajitas come to the table sizzling and full of flavour. These were room temp, oily and bland. d) My wife ordered chips and guacamole. The guacamole arrived fine (and she stated it tasted good), but they did not bring the chips until we asked again (as well as for the cutlery). When the chips arrived they were basically dumped on the table, not severed. e) One of the group asked for hot sauce (we were surprised it was not on the table as this is a Mexican style restaurant). She was told she would have to buy a bottle. . . eventually they brought something. f) One of the group ordered an alcoholic drink, that in the picture was full of fruit, but arrived with none.

All of these things on their own may seem trivial, but one after another added up to a very negative experience. Added to this, this place is not cheap - it is not crazy expensive, but coming from Canada, the exchange rate makes any purchase heavier (especially since master card adds at least 5% to the rate). All in all it was a lot of money for a meal I wish I never experienced. I am not certain what was going on that night, but I would never go back.

On the positive side, they provided chips and salsa for the table, and they were quite...
