We had the pleasure of experiencing a culinary masterpiece at Mercato Della Pescheria in April 2023, a hidden gem located next to a live performance at the Venetian in Las Vegas. From start to finish, this restaurant delivered an exceptional dining experience, thanks to the attentive waiter, friendly hostess, and a delectable array of dishes that left us craving for more.
From the moment we settled in to enjoy the live music, a friendly and attentive hostess took notice of our presence and went above and beyond to ensure a seamless transition to our table. With a genuine smile and a warm demeanor, she gracefully made her way through the lively crowd, personally approaching us to inform us that our table was ready. Her thoughtful gesture demonstrated a level of hospitality and attention to detail that truly set the tone for the entire dining experience.
Our attentive waiter elevated the experience to new heights with his impeccable service and extensive knowledge of the menu. He effortlessly navigated the intricacies of the cuisine, providing insightful recommendations that perfectly aligned with our tastes. From the moment he introduced himself, it was evident that he genuinely cared about our dining experience, ensuring that our glasses were always filled and our needs promptly met. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor truly made us feel like honored guests.
Now, let's delve into the culinary delights that graced our palates. We couldn't resist indulging in the "Crispy Calamari," and we were rewarded with a delightful culinary experience. The calamari was expertly prepared, boasting a satisfying crunch that gave way to tender, flavorful seafood within. Accompanied by a tangy dipping sauce, each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that left us wanting more.
The "Fettucine Frutti Di Mare" was a true masterpiece, showcasing the expertise of the culinary team at Mercato Della Pescheria. The combination of fresh, succulent seafood and perfectly cooked fettuccine was a symphony of flavors that transported us to the shores of Italy. Each bite revealed a harmonious blend of the sea's bounty, leaving us longing for more.
Equally remarkable was the "Spaghette Alle Vongole," a dish that perfectly captured the essence of Italian coastal cuisine. The pasta was cooked to perfection, maintaining its al dente texture, while the clams provided a burst of flavor with every bite. The delicate balance of ingredients showcased the skillful execution of the culinary team, resulting in a dish that was both comforting and exquisite.
Mercato Della Pescheria's strategic location next to a live performance at the Venetian added an extra layer of excitement to our evening. The energetic ambiance of the nearby show combined with the warm, inviting atmosphere of the restaurant, creating a truly enchanting experience that lingered in our memories.
In conclusion, Mercato Della Pescheria exceeded our expectations in every aspect. From the attentive waiter and friendly hostess to the exceptional culinary creations, this restaurant provided a flawless dining experience. The "Fettucine Frutti Di Mare," "Spaghette Alle Vongole," and "Crispy Calamari" were the epitome of culinary perfection. If you find yourself in Las Vegas and seek an unforgettable dining adventure, Mercato Della Pescheria is a must-visit destination.

Read moreMy family and I have visited St. Mark's Square on several occasions; however, we've never dined at Mercato Della Perscheria before, but always wanted to because we love that area. The opportunity finally arrived on 24 Jul 2025, as we made reservations to eat here for the first time, prior to our first visit to the Sphere. Our reservation was set for 4:30 pm so when we arrived, the restaurant didn't have as many customers since it was a super early dinner for us. Nonetheless, it was great because the restaurant wasn't as loud even though we were seated in the outdoor-ish patio area.
The moment we sat down, we were asked about our water type preference and afterwards, we were immediately served water and bread. Our main server, Shawn, did an exceptional job that evening; he was extremely attentive, personable/friendly, and operated very efficiently. In fact, kudos to the restaurant staff that were part of making our dining experience memorable (e.g., chef, additional servers, etc.); even the manager that visited our table to ensure everything was top quality.
We ordered the Mushroom and Sausage Pizza and Caesar Salad for our appetizers; Linguini Frutti Di Mare, Lobster Linguine, and Cacio E Pepe Alla Ruota for our main entrées; and Mercato's Tableside Tiramisu for our dessert. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING, was outstanding! I think this was the first time we ever received two tableside preparations (Cacio E Pepe Alla Ruota and Tiramisu) in one visit. As a lessons learned for us, if we order the Cacio E Pepe Alla Ruota again, we'll definitely add something to it, whether it's shrimp or chicken, because although that pasta and cheese was delicious, it was certainly a lot of cheese to intake without some sort of protein (not cheese protein). And yes, I'm aware that some folks believe that there's "no such thing as too much cheese." The Tiramisu was a little unconventional to what I'm used to...but in an intensely good way. I mean when they bring out a block of dark chocolate to shave on your dessert, and you have control of how much to put on there, that itself is magical.
The price-to-quality/quantity is very reasonable, especially considering you're eating at a restaurant on the Las Vegas (LV) Strip. I am forever grateful to this restaurant for their continued support to the active men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! This was (and is) hands-down one of the best Italian restaurants I've visited on or off the Strip. As a LV local, it's unfortunate that this restaurant is located on the Strip because I'm not a fan of visiting this area as much. However, at the same time, I'm glad it's far away from me because I could see myself spending too much money while dining here at least once a week because of their exceptional food quality and extraordinary service. Overall, I had a great time here and a memorable first experience - I highly recommend this restaurant...
Read moreThe TLDR of this review is that Mercato Della Pescheria had the most amazing food, ambience, and service at our time in the Venetian and Rey, our server, made it perfect. We spent a packed week on the Vegas strip doing everything we could think of, including eating at the most famous joints in Vegas (steakhouses, buffet etc). We had an evening show in an hour with no appetite, but had a party of 5 and my mother in law was craving sea bass. Mercato was one of two restaurants in the Venetian that served sea bass and a whole lot of other delicious food. Mercato is located conveniently right in the Grand Canal square by the panoramic sky and gelato places so it was a very convenient 5 minute walk into the Palazzo casino and theatre. We told them about our situation and were seated immediately and given sparkling water and bread to start. Rey was very attentive and cognizant of our time needs, but did not hesitate to offer us what we found were perfect recommendations for our party. Our starters were Saffron Mussels and Eggplant Parmesan, as well as two salads. Each salad is ultra fresh, and enough for 3 people to share. The eggplant was perfectly cooked and was distinctively combined with the aromatic Parmesan, generous Mozzarella, and fresh marinara sauce. The saffron mussels stole the show. While the mussels themselves were plentiful, the yellow saffron sauce was a killer, the whole family could not get enough. The table bread is served with delicious olive oil and vinaigrette which we enjoyed but we could not help ourselves but indulge in dipping bread into the marinara and saffron sauces. My 7 year old daughter had a healthily portioned thin crust pepperoni pizza that was fresh and delicious, that we all got to partake in. Our main was the night’s special, a combo platter featuring red snapper filet, jumbo shrimp, whole lobster, and a New York strip. All items were excellent, and honestly the New York strip was a better tasting steak than any we had at the famous steakhouses around the strip for a fraction of the price. We also had a Tortellini Prosciutto which featured a nice sauce. Oh yeah, best sea bass we ever had. We made it to our show with 5 minutes to spare despite it all....
