No. 1 Boba Tea UNLV — Restaurant in Paradise

My husband and I come here a lot. Usually it's 5 stars. 5 seconds as I get in my car, I looked at my smoothie, I was researching something on my phone not paying attention to the drink and it's liquidity. I know it's hot outside, but it shouldn't be that runny after 5 seconds. I took both drinks back to the counter and the girl told me it was because I didn't get sugar in my drink. I know that can't be true because I never get sugar. And then there was another excuse. I was waiting for someone to say we apologize and offer replacement how they usually come. Then one said even if they add more ice it will look the same. To me, the issue was it wasn't frozen/cold enough. Either they didn't use enough ice or the fruit wasn't cold enough. I didn't like them giving me poor excuses when we go there all the time so we know how the drinks typically come. I don't really want to come back if it continues to look like liquid instead of a frozen blended drink as it usually is. It was runny, like water, you can see...

This is my 3rd visit and wanted to try the thai tea. But it tasted watery to me, you could tell but how lighter the coloring is and I couldn't taste the "tea" part, it mostly tasted the water and sugar. I have this opinion because I've had REALLY good thai tea before here in Vegas and they were from japanese, korean and hot pot restaurants.

I've had the same problem on my previous visits here where they mostly tasted bland and watery. It is a different story in the Chinatown area though, everything there is blended better

I had the opportunity to stop here and enjoy a Thai milk tea while charging our EV. It was a great experience. The milk tea was sweet and bold, and there was plenty of boba! The person working was very nice and very thorough. They were working alone, so they would take a few orders and make the drinks right after. The service was still fast and efficient though, so big props to Patrick for doing an amazing job! They also have a little retail area if you want to buy any cute charms, stuffed animals puzzles etc. If I lived in the area I would...
