âïžâïžâïžâïžâïž A Dining Experience for the Ages â The Court Las Vegas
If youâre looking for a dining experience that transcends the meal itselfâwhere food, service, and atmosphere unite in unforgettable harmonyâThe Court Las Vegas is, without question, as good as it gets.
Our family traveled to Las Vegas for a ten-day, three-generation vacation packed with activities, memories, and meals at some of the cityâs most celebrated restaurants. And yet, without hesitation, I can say that The Court was not only the best dining experience of the entire tripâit may be one of my favorite dining experiences of a lifetime.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere at The Court was warm, vibrant, and inviting. The décor was stunning but approachable, the vibe stylish but not pretentious. The staff made us feel like family, providing genuine hospitality and flawless service from beginning to end.
But the food⊠the food was simply extraordinary. Between the members of our group, we sampled a wide array of dishes, and not a single bite disappointed. The Fried Chicken and Waffles were perfectly crisp and tender, a masterclass in flavor and balance. The Shrimp, Catfish, and Grits was southern comfort elevated to an art formârich, soulful, and flawlessly seasoned. The Pancakes were light and buttery clouds of joy. And everything in between? Divine. Each dish was prepared with care, heart, and culinary excellence.
We were so taken with the experience that we even purchased photos to remember the occasionâa small but telling gesture of just how meaningful this meal was to us.
What makes The Court stand out even more is that we dined at several so-called âeliteâ restaurants throughout our stayâplaces known for their exclusivity and Michelin starsâand The Court outshone them all. Not just in flavor, but in soul.
If youâre in Las Vegas and you miss The Court, youâve missed the heart of the cityâs culinary spirit. Itâs not just a mealâitâs a memory. A celebration. A standard-setter.
Do yourself a favor: make a reservation. Bring your family. Order everything. And savor...
Read moreUpdate to my review: I have gone back twice since then and the food is STILL amazing and the service has gotten MUCH better. Maybe this was an off day. But the 5 stars are well deserved.
The FOOD is absolutely amazing, letâs get that clear. I am eating my leftovers a day later and they are PERFECT. My issues are unfortunately the same that is typical of Black restaurants, we treat EACH OTHER subpar and donât hold ourselves to the same standards as other establishments and are extremely âit is what it isâ about it. For example, I was at this establishment for exactly 90 mins. 1) Restaurant was supposed to open at 9, opened at 9:06 with people waiting outside lined up. (We had reservations) 2) Phone calls to the restaurant went unanswered when inquiring about why we were standing outside despite staff being inside at the time. 3) Person who was supposed to âturn on the fried chicken oilâ didnât show up to work so upon trying to order my food at 945am (yes, ordering because the kitchen wasnât ready to take our order when we were seated until 930ish) so I couldnât eat meat since I have a seafood allergy and bacon wasnât going to cut it with my waffle. Chicken was available at about 10am to order once the grease heated up but it did not get done by time we had to leave the establishment at 1030.
There were a few other things but Iâm not going to keep complaining because unfortunately I expected it. My server tho was VERY nice. She tried her best. Wasnât her fault. I would have loved a manager to come around and just express some sort of empathy or compassion for the inconveniences. Both tables to either side of me were visually perturbed just like I was and the server handled it gracefully, she just needed better leadership and guidance.
Will I be back the next time Iâm in Vegas, most likely yes because again, amazing food. I just wish Black establishments valued US and our business and support since all of my issues were easily remediable and seemed like more like a lack of care than...
Read moreI can't say anything about the food, as we didnât get the chance to eat there. However looking at the website and reading reviews, it appeared that the food was the good. This complaint is regarding the customer service (or lack thereof). Before arriving to the restaurant via Uber, my friend called right after 11am to 1 - Make sure they were open, and 2 - Inquire about reservations. My friend asked if reservations were needed, and was told âNoâ, nor was it advised that reservations were suggested. We arrived at approximately 11:35 - 11:40 and stood in line. By the time the hostess/server asked how many were in our party (3), it was about 11:55. We were told it would be a THREE hour wait. We told her that we were from out of town and came via Uber. At 11:57, she suggested that we put our name on the waiting list, just in case someone leaves, and our time is moved up. Mind you, none of this was mentioned when my friend called the restaurant. In fact, when my friend mentioned that she called to ask if reservations were needed, she was told by the server that it âwas impossibleâ that she called...I was sitting across from my friend when she made the call. In addition, she mentioned that âThis is Vegas on a Saturdayâ, and âThis is what happens at black owned restaurants in the area.â Were we supposed to do EXTENSIVE research to to have breakfast/brunch? If we're hungry at that moment, who is going to take the chance, and possibly end up waiting 3+ hours?? So, we left. If someone would have mentioned the wait time or suggested reservations when my friend called, we would have been given the option as to whether or not go to the restaurant in the first place. This definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Despite everything, I would still like to patronize this establishment in the future. Hopefully I will, and will have a...
