Worst place to visit if you are not famous. I had a table reservation, which I requested over a month prior to desired date and got an email confirming reservation. The manager Dave called me 3 days prior to my reservation to inform me that J lost my table to a famous person (aka Rod Stewart and his invitees). He offered me the option to come on Friday (which was not possible since my 13 people party (3 celebrating their birthday - including me - and selecting the Barbershop as the place to celebrate) arrived on Friday night) or Saturday with complimentary drinks and standing up. We took Saturday since most of the party would not arrive on time to go Friday. The bar had a couple famous people, including Nsync or backstreet boys guy which I don't know the name since i don't follow pop culture. The celebration turned out to be a nightmare, the complimentary drink turned out to be SODA (in a bar), and a friend got kicked out for standing by the backstreet boy/nsync guy in the bathroom line, which doesn't make sense, if a famous person can't pee in a public bathroom bar without ruining other client's night, manager should have a backstage bathroom for famous people right? Or at least block the bar for commoners and not let anyone else in. After my friend got kicked out, we tried to talk to the manager, the security that removed my friend (with no plausible reason) came running to say "if I said your friend is out, he is out". I was standing behind my kicked out friend and saw everything and didn't get kicked out (probably because i'm a woman and blond) so that sucked, again, if a famous person can't be around common people, the bar should be prepared or prepare security. His actions ruined 13 people - again, including 3 birthday people - night. So if you are not famous, you may have a good time, unless the big security guy thinks you are not worth to be around, and thinks he can kick you out. I do have to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to security John, he was amazing through the whole night, friendly, tried to help, but apparently the security that kicked out my friend had his word above anyone else - including manager. Also, a big shout out to security in the entrance - which I didn't get the name, but he was all the time in the barbershop entrance, and all the bartenders and the bands, for sure these people made the night a little better. Unfortunately we had a bad experience due to 1 security and a manager that couldn't keep up...
Read moreDONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I mistakenly gave them a third try. My fault. 2/3 haircuts here I had to fix with scissors after. 45 mins messing with the buzzer on the sides of my head. That should have taken 10-15 at Most. -Spent about 1.5 minutes using actual scissors. I pointed out the top needed more attention and was told we were done because she had other clients waiting. Maybe if you had just done what I asked instead of screwing around and dancing half the time, my hair would look mildly acceptable. If you want a mediocre haircut where youâre not listened to at all, and they keep the chair turned so you canât see what theyâre doing; this place is Perfect! Seriously; the haircut was just ok. My 5year old could have done it. And it Took Forever. Should have just gone to Supercuts for same quality at 1/10 the price. Showed Multiple pictures of what was expected. Last haircut was only 4 weeks ago, so not that hard??? Nope!! Stylist was very nice, but didnât listen to what I asked at all. I went across the street to Walgreens and got a pair of scissors to fix it right away. $75 + tip?? I know all stylists think theyâre Amazing, but maybe, just Maybe; listen to what the client Wants, and just do that. You donât need to improvise, or try to make it a show. Just cut my hair the way I asked. Apparently thatâs just too much to ask... Add in the surly âdoormanâ, and associates trying to look tough, and this place is just kind of a joke these days. Stylist was lovely. But just didnât listen. Any time I tried to show that wasnât what I wanted, they just got upset and said they werenât done. Ok fine, but what youâre doing 1) I canât see?? Why is the chair turned around?? 2) is not what I asked for. 3) donât get pissy when asked what youâre doing or to change things. Thatâs the job. Make my hair look the way I want it. -Not just however you feel...
Read moreWhere do I start?... First off, we made a reservation 2 months in advance and when they called to confirm they informed us of a $250 minimum which we responded telling them that wasn't a problem since four of us were coming for food and drinks. When we arrived our server Nadif offered us water while she wasn't ready to take a drink order yet. One girl at our table said sure and she brought 4 evians to the table which was strange because those we usually have to ask for, and she was just expecting a regular cup of water (shoulda been first red flag about Nadif). Then she took our drink orders and we sat excited going over the menu. When she came back we asked to put in our food order and she said only cold items since kitchen closed early for Christmas Eve (something nobody ever bothered to inform us). We said that wouldn't work because we were starving and had been waiting for a while to have a lot of food with our drinks. With a salty attitude she walked away and brought us a check telling us we could close out early if we wanted. Great plan! Only problem was now going over this receipt. I have NEVER and I mean NEVER seen a server be this obvious of a crook. She charged $6 for each water bottle that nobody asked for, she up charged every single cocktail to ultra premium liquors we never asked for, and to top it all off she charged for ice on 3 of the drinks totaling $15.......
The water bottles, I can accept as a misunderstanding... Charging for ice, I can accept as out of her control greedy management.... But up charging all of the cocktails to premium liquors without even asking us was absurd and just disgusting behavior. It's the type of behavior servers have when they feel untouchable.
What a shame. From looking forward to this experience for months, to having the whole night ruined by...
