I have to say I love the service here. The staff is friendly and always happy to have a conversation. I mostly drink and eat at the bar witch makes it easier to feel comfortable in a time like COVID. So the Staff is 5 star but I have to say that the food is more like a 3.5 star. I arrived late at night and due to a flight delay and I order a teriyaki rice bowl that comes with chicken. The dish looked good and had plenty of flavor with the green string beans and the mushrooms and the chicken was delicious but the rice was the worse part. The rice was way under cooked and hard. The night shift bartender (Jennifer- I think was her name) and manager came to me to check on how I was doing and I informed them of the issue. They apologized and since it was late and they were closing the kitchen and they offered to take care of me with another drink. Jennifer was working hard to make sure I was okay and happy with something. You don't get that kind of service every where and being in Las Vegas I thought they wouldn't care but they did. They offered to buy me another drink, so I asked for their "Not so old fashioned" drink. If you have never had an Old Fashion you gotta try it, but this old fashion is on the fancy side. The Jake & Eli Not So Old Fashion has a maple syrup flavor to it and comes in a smoke box. The smoke box infuses the smoke into the drink and adds something a little different. It's sweet but not sugary and has a great smooth Bourbon taste. It also comes with a twist of orange witch helps balance out the flavor. I have never had a drink with so much flair and flavor. I have found my new drink. Even though I wasn't a fan of the food the service was top notch and so was the drink and sometimes great service can make all the difference and here it did. Thanks Jennifer and night manager for the...
Read moreNicely remodeled for a lobby bar. Reservations taken on Open Table which is always a plus.
Our bartender left us in need on anything, and gave us our space. Hostesses were friendly and directed us well. No issues with any staff, everyone was great and knew their jobs.
Happy hour is always nice concept, but prices here weren't very exciting for product received. $8 for a glass of grocery store Chardonnay will not keep anyone coming back. Salt and pepper calamari was delicious, but wouldn't consider price or portion happy hour value.
Room was nicely remodeled and appeared someone is trying to do their best.
Can't believe this place charged for parking too. Supposed validation stand didn't work on way out...too late to turn around to remedy. $10 for about an hour of parking for locals!?!?!
Overall, $110 for: Four pedestrian happy hour beverages Two non value (but admittedly tasty) happy hour food menu items One appetizer (not on happy hour) Gratuity Parking
Honestly, know many other places within vicinity in middle of day that can eat and drink excellently like kings for $110. This isn't...
Read moreNot so great food, okay service, misleading menu & pricey!! We stayed at the Westin & went here for a simple breakfast - ordered an omelet, (comes with toast & home fries), pancakes, which looked great but tasted kinda ok & were too soft instantly becoming mush in your mouth. The menu says fresh juice but the staff confirmed it wasn’t freshly squeezed! Menu says they have espressos & cappuccinos, staff directed us to the Starbucks in the hotel! I barely had 30% of the pancake & ultimately gave up. Perhaps a busy time, but the staff came to us several times in the first couple of minutes to order (we weren’t ready). Despite all this I decided to sign the receipt with a slightly over 10% tip & ended up receiving a receipt with the tipping levels circled as if a reminder on what the appropriate levels of tipping would be. Anyway, not eating there again! Not such a “Good Plate” after all unfortunately! Sorry Marriott, I’ve seen...
