If I could give it ZERO STARS I would. Appalling treatment by an employee. Unfortunately, I did not see his name, but he is a middle aged man of Asian looking decent. I had gotten a meal to go from another food stand, and halfway out of the food court, realized I didn't have a napkin. I placed my bags down on a table and went to the nearest food stand, which was the Bourbon St. Grill. As I walked toward the stand, the man offered me a piece of chicken on a tooth pick. I took it and thanked him, and then proceeded to ask, "I was wondering if you have a napkin?" He, very nastily showed me the dirty rag he was holding and said, "you can have this!" Or, you can have chicken, rice, beans, etc. The girl standing next to him (employee) started to laugh out loud, because she thought his nasty response was funny. I stood there silently and waited a minute. He then saw I was still there and again, very nastily said, "you can have chicken, rice, beans etc.!" The young girl (employee) continued to laugh out loud as I walked away. I have called the mall management and will proceed with...
Read moreI have to say, some of the reviews on this establishment is bordering on satire. Recently went here and found the food to be fantastic! The mango chicken was absolutely delicious as was the bourbon chicken and the spicy chicken. Do yourself a favor and actually look at the complaints about this place before you make a decision. I’ll cut you a break and give you an example or two about the complaints. One complaint was about the use of paper bag oppose to plastic bags and another was the color of the food, the color! I mean I understand complaints about the quality of the food but when the complaints have nothing to do with the quality then I can’t and won’t take it seriously. People seriously need to stop crying and complaining about the silliest of things. Enjoy this place, I know me and...
Read moreFood is good, but the paper bags are useless and terrible! I got the bourbon chicken, asked for a bag so I could take it home. As I carried it to my car, got inside and sat down.. I noticed that the food & sauce leaked, soaked through the bag and then dripped all over my jacket, pants and car seat.
So stupid to replace all plastic bags with paper. Paper costs a lot more for the store, causes deforestation, no handles so it's difficult to carry, uses more space in landfills, can't be reused for anything, easy to tear by mistake, and since it is not waterproof.. the sauces, juices and food will spill and leak all over you, your clothes, your car and your furniture. No thank you! Idiot governor!
Bring back plastic...
