There’s a reason this place doesn’t get booked up on a Saturday night. First, I made a reservation online which the hostess said couldn’t be possible since they only take them over the phone. Needless to say, I had an email Google confirmation confirming the 7pm booking. She said she could try accommodating that, so she sat us at the bar until a table became available (so that was okay). Then, we ordered drinks from the bar….I’m telling you, these were some of THE WOrST cocktails I’d ever put into my body. Some tasted like Straight battery acid and others like watered down hints of a possible and indiscernible flavor.i know this is harsh. The food, was …passable? But honestly, not when you consider the prices. For a restaurant on park city Main Street, I’m baffled they stay open with the caliber of competition around them. I love Korean food and this place just doesn’t do it justice. The waitress was kind and she did her best…given she seemed sloshed and incoherent at times. Bringing wrong drinks, seeming incredibly confused, making odd jokes. In fact, all employees at this restaurant seemed a little too laxadazical and lacked eagerness to help or even seem alert, quite frankly. All and all it was quite comical as I have not been to a restaurant that hit so many negatives in all categories. Yet, I was happy to be fed dinner somewhere in park city on a Saturday night…it’s just clear now WHY this place had availability while all others...
Read moreI’m sorry, I cannot give a high review. We came in with about 10 folks. We came in just after they opened and were one of the first customers seated. I tried all the things we ordered. The cod was good. And the hand rolls were pretty good. The yakisoba was so so. The tonkatsu ramen was not tonkatsu at all - supposed to be boiled pork bones creating a whitish broth. Not only was the flavor not right, it was too light. The Korean short ribs (kalbi) were extremely tough and obviously reheated. That shouldn’t be the case for the first customers for dinner. Kids wouldn’t even finish the small piece they had. Chicken wings weren’t very good either and you get 4 little wings for like $15. Small portions. Basically a very expensive meal that was way below par. Not sure what the chefs are doing in the back. Disappointing because we brought folks from out of town. Christmas break and the streets were loaded with people, but hardly anyone came in by the time we left. I hate to give bad reviews but they need to step it up if they don’t want to be out of business...
Read moreThis gets 2 stars because we have a funny story, but the food was poorly prepared and our server/bar tender was so sloshed she kept mixing up our orders with other peoples and ended up adding an extra $100 worth of dishes onto our bill. Our drinks were not made right, they were gross, and my food only had 1 or 2 bites with sauce on it, and the rest was an over fried chicken stake on a hamburger bun. I'm really wishing we'd have gotten chick-fil-a instead. While you can make reservations online, and get a confirmation ticket, they don't check them and "only accept call in reservations." I'm fine if people want to take the edge off and have a drink while working, but our waitress was slurring everything and was at the "get your shiz together" level. I defiantly wouldn't suggest going here. However, there is an awesome new place up the street called The Pie Bar and that was amazing! Honestly, I'm not a fan of low reviews but I'm also not a fan of paying for other peoples...
