I went for a first time visit to Utah to see my bestfriend in November 2023 and she planned an afternoon outing for us in Park City. We got there way early, before anything was opening up and we were cold and hungry and luckily found this place to stumble into. It was busy and had no prospects of finding a place to sit while we were in line, but that didn’t deter us! We ordered our drinks, I asked for a hot green tea and a blueberry muffin. My friend had the spicy coffee and she liked it a lot! The employees were so friendly and so sweet, they called me up to the counter and were going to allow me to create my own green tea mixture, but they were busy and I didn’t want to hold them up so I told them “dealers choice, I will be happy with anything!” And she ended up making me some kind of tropical/peachy green tea and it was perfection. It warmed me up, and the muffin was so tasty too! We eventually landed a table and got to take in the ambiance of the shop and enjoy our treats before we ventured off. Thanks for filling my belly and warming me up for my day in Park City! I’ve told so many people about this place and will continue to do so, thank you! Not to mention the quirky gift selection, books, mugs and Park City fun stuff....
Read moreAtticus strikes the perfect balance between cozy and functional, offering just the right amount of comfort to feel at home, even when you’re far from it. Sure, I could rave about the strong WiFi and spacious tabletops—essential features for any modern coffee shop—but what really sets Atticus apart is its attention to detail.
As someone who still clings to the rich, bold flavors of a good dark roast, I’ve noticed a shift in coffee culture toward lighter, fruitier profiles. While many shops have abandoned the traditional dark roast in favor of trendier options, Atticus remains a welcome outlier. Their dark roasted drip coffee is proof that some classics don’t need reinventing.
Bring your own cup, and not only will you get an exceptional brew, but you’ll also enjoy a remarkably affordable treat (under $3!). Whether it’s early in the morning or later in the afternoon, the coffee is consistently fresh, perfectly brewed, and satisfying. And if they put this much care into their drip coffee, you can only imagine the effort behind everything else they serve.
So, drop in, grab a cup, and maybe take a moment to write a postcard. It’s the kind of small joy that makes for a...
Read moreAbsolutely magical place! However I found out the hard way this is definitely a “tourist trap” or they treat you that way. Ordered a fabulous drink (Nectar of the Gods) and put it down at the table to shop the books. (Thought that would be the respectable thing to do.) Anyway went to check on my drink -my girlfriend had hers there too- it was gone. I immediately asked both girls working the front and although one was standing right by the trash can they both said they did not touch our drinks. I asked a couple of times. This was pretty disturbing because the one by the trash can immediately said we will remake it for you. Why would you offer to remake it if you didn’t throw it away?? Don’t lie. It’s not a pretty look and make people feel taken advantage of. Other than that there were 2 other people who were dining in and came up to us and told us they saw her throw them away while we were shopping. I’m not sure why she felt the need to lie. Anyway cool spot, beware- employees not so cool and definitely don’t act like an “Atticus”. I still spent $75+ on books, but didn’t go back and will not.... bad energy...
