Really bad service followed by worse food. Freezer Burnt noodles can’t be covered in canned sauce with extra olive oil.
It’s worth the walk to Fuego Bistro and Pizzeria. This place is far more advance in the culinary taste and service
I hate writing bad reviews, but this one deserves it. Being from the food service industry I understand the difficulties restaurants face but this is well within their control. They misses the mark from start to finish.
They couldn’t understand drink orders. We had a party of 10 they got 3 orders correct and had to re make the remaining cocktails because they didn’t know what a screw driver or any of the other cocktails were and brought out best guesses. ( get a bartender or just stick to the premade stuff and wine) The waitress left after she took the drink order and took 20 min to come back to get the order. I can handle that if the place was busy but they had 3 tables inside the entire place and enough wait staff to cover the whole restaurant. The appetizers looked like they were slung on a plate no presentation and portion sizes were They didn’t use seat numbers and expo was placing dishes in wrong seats and actioning off food without even knowing what the food was we had to tell them. ( seating assignments start counter clock wise assign a number so you don’t look like you don’t even know the food you’re serving)
Noddles pre made aren’t the best but don’t refreeze and serve again. It might be faster to get food out, but the taste is terrible.
If you shoot and miss, no worries but you have to make up for it. No one was happy with their food than it’s not just the party it’s the food.
7.This is a service industry if you can’t educate your wait staff of proper waiting etiquette don’t charge a mandatory 20%.
Most importantly Non si discute sul gusto
Best of luck hope you figure this out until then I suggest Fuego Bistro and Pizzeria, they are light years ahead in taste...
Read moreUpon arrival I was confronted by a woman (I think.) She(?) Then had the audacity to ask if I had a reservation. She then asked how many I was and I responded with an answer. Here's where things got outta hand. She then asked me to sit a couch that offered little to no lumbar support which contained only 3 pillows. The couch didn't even look or feel Italian (more of a middle Eastern vibe, if you know what I'm saying;) I then was forced to listen to a terrible rendition of an American classic "happy birthday" by Dr Dre. It was mumbled and very halfway done. Also why it so dark in here? Then there was the waiter the only way I can describe him is indescribable. He was big and spooky and failed to deliver not only Dr. Pepper but also root beer. He was an ape like creature with gigantic hands and a can do attitude. I order what I think was spaghetti but it was called like a pompador. It kinda tasted like card board but I don't thing my pallet is sophisticated enough to tell if it was fine dining or not. Tommy got pompador sauce all up in his eye. Seems suspicious because twenty minutes later my eye kind of hurt. Coincidence? I think not. I believe it's an inside job similar to 9/11 but don't get me started on that. All in all I'm very uncomfortable with who I am as a human being and my self worth is diminishing by the second. All in all this restaurant is bomb yo. I'd eat there with not only my grandma, but also that lady I met at k Mart. I love you...
Read moreWent up to park city for the weekend & we had some of the best food! We checked out Buona Vita based off the excellent reviews & it happened to be pretty close to where we were staying. I thought this place was one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in a while honestly! I ordered the Al Funghi. It comes with penne noodles, mushrooms, & a creamy tomato sauce. I think I saw somewhere in the reviews other referring to it as a pink sauce. My boyfriend doesn’t care for mushrooms but really liked this dish. I thought the sauce had such a unique taste to it. I can’t describe it. It was delicious with the bread being dipped it in as well. Portions were large & I ended up taking half of this meal home & eating it the next day. It made me want to return to park city asap! My boyfriend ordered the Caesar salad as a side & the pollo alla parmigiana. He loved the Caesar salad here! He liked this dish as well. I thought the pasta sauce was pretty basic to spaghetti sauce but the breaded chicken was really good. We thought the bread was too hard that they served to the table. I wish it was a little softer, or larger in size so there was more than just the outside of the bread I felt like I was eating. We tried two wines, The Gabbiano Chianti Classico (red wine) & the Torre De Luna Pino Grigio (white wine). Both wines were fantastic! Cute place! Staff was great! Highly...
