It’s disgusting here. I arrived late at night, hauled my 50 lb bag up a narrow shady cinderblock staircase located outside the building, to a lock box with no map and vague directions to my room. I cased the place, eventually hauling and up another flight of stairs only to unlocked a room full of disappointment. The furniture was stained with holes, there was toothpaste scum in the bathroom sink, I found 6 stray black hairs on the pillows and in the bed, the jet tub was stained, corroding and filthy and there was hair and grime in the corners of the bathroom floor. The refrigerator was grimey and with neglected food debris on the door and handle. Nothing was provided in the kitchen except a tip envelope for the cleaning service assuring that they take “special pride in preparing this room”. ||Reluctantly, I unpacked everything and got ready for bed only to discover the toilet didn’t flush. I was able to get the manager on the phone at 12:30am and he (kind soul) recommended another room. Tired from an intense day I repacked all of my belongings and groceries and set off again into the cold and around the perimeter of the building to find my new accommodation. It was somewhat cleaner and the toilet worked. Unfortunately the fireplace didn’t. When I called for assistance the following day, I was informed that someone would get back to me on Monday. It was Saturday. The office isn’t staffed on the weekends. At a resort rental. Ok. I spent a cold night in front of a dark fireplace under a questionable blanket waiting for this misadventure to end. I didn’t need the Four Seasons but I would never...
Read moreSkiers lodge is close to main Street in Park City, UT, across from the Library, and just below the location of the Alpine slides. The lodge itself has been around for as long as I can remember, and my family has a time share there. The upkeep on the lodge could be a lot better. Their clubhouse is run down and barely used, except for the spa that needs some work. They don't clean the rooms very well, and whenever we go, we have to re-wash the dishes as they are quite grimy. There was tons of dust on the floor and under the couches the last time we went, and the rug in the main room was disgusting. We hope and pray that the bedding is washed well, but who knows? They do have a laundry area that you can use when you go up there if your super worried. But one of the washers has issues. The walls in the bathroom were pretty gross when we stayed there as well. It's always interesting on what you will find in the drawers, or under beds when you stay there. Although they have slowly been doing renovations, which make it look nicer, they should definitely look into a better cleaning service. It has a lot of potential to be a great place, and it used to be! Not so much anymore. So I guess it's great if you are in a pinch, but I wouldn't suggest it for anyone who is particular about the cleanliness of the place you are staying in. It's a mediocre...
Read moreThe room we stayed in had obviously been updated and looked nice. But pretty much everything else was rundown and old. The parking garage ceiling had holes and leaks. The hot tub was still operational but very worn down. The continental breakfast offered one day a week was a little stale and probably saved from the week before.
When we checked in the receptionist said we could only park one car in the parking garage which only had at most 2 other cars in it our whole stay. I asked the receptionist where we could park our other vehicle and she said on the road. When I went to park on the road there were signs that said no parking at the risk of being towed. So I parked and went back to the receptionist to verify we could park where it said no parking and she said yes, that the sign was meant for guests not at the condo. Well, next day my vehicle was gone. We had to pay several hundred dollars to get the car back and after months of contacting management by phone, email, and mail to see what could be done about the towing fee, the condo took no responsibility for the towing. If that's the kind of customer service you want in your hotel, stay here. This place is for you. Otherwise, save your dollars (plus the dollars you will spend on a towing) and go somewhere...
