TLDR: If you are not of the preferred race/ethnicity of this shopâs employees, be prepared to be treated distinctly poorly.
I had one of my worst experiences of buying a coffee this morning at Lucky Ones Coffee.
I walked up to the counter, there werenât any other customers in line and two employees were behind the counter. Both employees simultaneously ignored me as if I wasnât there without any acknowledgment while they cleaned espresso machines, making coffee, arranging coffee cups and coffee sleeves. Anything but to make eye contact with me or at least tell me that they need a minute or something like that. After what seemed like forever (maybe 3-5 minuted later) one employee reluctantly took my order.
While waiting for my coffee, a mother and a son of a different ethnicity walked in and they were immediately greeted with good morning and had their orders taken.
While the employee made drinks for other customers, they will call out the name of the drinks to alert the other customers that their drinks were ready. Later I saw the employee handed a drink to the child who walked in after me, so I went and check. The mother of the child said she didnât order any drink, to which the employee responded to me âwell i guess thatâs yours thenâ.

It opens at 8 even though the library opens at 9, so donât believe Siri when she warns you it may not be open (if you Googled Park City Library like we did, not knowing the name of the coffee shop.) A local friend recommended it with the encouragement to support the philosophy of hiring special needs people. It was bustling when we arrived and I ordered the yummy seasonal Peppermint Mocha. Sooo good. When we were there, a film crew from YouTube was doing a feature about this place. The mom of one of the employees told me about the feature. Her son was being filmed and he was beaming with pride. What a great concept this is and a great location. She also told me another location is opening up in Salt Lake City. That will...

I came here looking for something for breakfast, because I thought there would be more options. But sadly I was disappointed... Other customers that were here were really friendly, and it was great to talk with him. But, the employee that was here was staring at his phone the whole time, and I had to speak up for him to acknowledge me.
The drip coffee was okay, but nothing...
