I’ve been coming to this Saltgrass location for over 10 years, and I’ll keep returning because of the excellent service and food.
So many restaurants in the Denver Metro treat you like human cattle—rushing you through the meal, cramming tables into tight spaces, and making you feel like just another number. Saltgrass is the opposite. The dining room is open and welcoming, you’re never rushed, and the experience always feels special.
Every visit has been great, especially compared to other options in Parker. There’s no other steakhouse in town that’s as consistent or fresh—this place is hands-down the best.
The staff, specifically the manager, Tracy—who used to be my family's favorite waitress here almost a decade ago, is particularly pleasant and wonderful on every visit we see her. I cannot tell you, how refreshing it is, to see a familiar and friendly face, at a restaurant for that span of time. It truly takes you back to an era gone by, and gives this restaurant a special touch.
If our visit ever has issues, she always addresses them with sincerity. The other managers are very professional and pleasant, too. But she stands out because she has gone above and beyond to remember my family, and always takes care of our concerns (if we had any) and makes each visit great.
The food lives up to its looks! The ribs, pork chops, mac and cheese, bread, salads, and soups are all as delicious as they appear in photos. And the steaks? Always top-notch. We’ve tried everything on the menu, and there’s not a single dish that skimps on quality—it all tastes homemade. Oh, and you have gotta try the carrot cake. There isn't a bakery in a 100 miles that comes close to their carrot cake.

Read moreWe had gift cards to Morton's, which sadly, is long gone. Saltgrass is part of the same chain, so we got to try them for the first time. The decor is "corporate country", which is to say there are deer heads on the wall, old drugtore signs, and lots of knotty wood. Pleasant enough. We were seated right between two other tables, even though the place was mostly empty.
I had the Pat's Ribeye, ordered medium because mid rare was described as "warm red center". I like mine a little pink, which is mid rare in some steak places. It came pretty well done on one end, just about right on the other. Since it was a uniform thickness, I can only guess the heat was uneven. So one side was very good, and one a little tough. The cut of meat was average, not what I expect from a steak place. The sweet potato fries were good - thin and cripsy.
One guest had the little fillet which was a perfect mid rare, very juicy and tender. Her mashers were outstanding with a bit of garlic, and a firm texture, just we like them. She also got a side of mushrooms which they loved. My other guest got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. There were TWO giant breasts, nicely cooked and breaded. He said they were not very "Nashville Hot", although the whole thing was gone before I could get a taste! The bun stood up to the huge pieces of chicken and generous toppings. His fries were great - thick cut, nice and crispy on the outside, but not mushy on the inside. Side salads were fine.
Service was cheerful and attentive, and we were fed quite quickly. At $120 including tax and tip for 3 with one beer and 2 sodas, it's not cheap, but still reasonable value. Would we go back? Probably, but there are other places in the same price range that knock this kind of meal out...
Read moreWe have never been, but received giftcards so we tried it. 1-1-25 6pmish. Max was our waiter, took him a 7 to 12 mins per request to get something to us. A table of 2 younger cute girls was sat in our area that max served, they got great service! Laughing and smiles at every turn for them. They got their food order taken right away, salads right away, drinks right away, whatever they wanted they had within 1 and a half, if that? It took a long time to get my 2nd and 3rd coke, my husband asked for more water and it also took so long that I was glad I ordered water as well so he could have that while waiting. We both ordered medium steaks, I got purple inside my husband got brown and dry. I ordered a loaded baked potato and received a dry potato with bacon? Gross, had to wait for the fixings for that. When waiting for maz to grab our ticket with cards in it after he went by the cute girls table 7 times I finally asked a waitress if we could pay upfront and she said oh I'll get it for you, so sweet! I wish we had her for our waitress! She got it right back to us, meanwhile Max flirting as he goes by the girls table 3 more times never noticing us still. He even helped the table right behind us twice while we were waiting for him to take our money. My husband left a $5 tip and wrote horrible service on the receipt. I get that young people wanna flirt but make sure you're taking care of ALL of your customers at your job while doing so, not cool! Needless to say not a great first impression with our Christmas gift! Thank you...
