You wouldn't necessarily think it from the outside, since it's in a large shopping plaza/strip mall, but holy cow, this place is incredible!!! The service is really friendly and the gentleman who helped us out at our table was one of the nicest and most efficient people I've ever had the privilege of meeting. The menu is no joke- there's something for everyone on it whether you want seafood, chicken, beef, pork, or vegetarian (I was a vegetarian for several years so I still have feelers out for friends and family on the veggie mobile). One of my friends got a shrimp dish (Tôm Xào Rau Thập Cẩm), the other ordered (I think) Bún Gà Nớng (rice vermicelli with chicken), and I chose the short ribs (smaller portion since the large portion is very big). I asked our kind attendant if he had any recommendations or fan favorites for beef and he suggested the short ribs. Wow!!! The marinated beef was out of this world!!! For an appetizer we ordered the Mực Chiên Dòn (crispy fried squid) and it was nothing short of delightful! If you've ever had any Far East desserts, you probably know the joy that is green tea ice cream. Well, that's what we all ordered and it was the perfect refreshing and sweet way to cap off dinner. I'd had this dessert (or something very similar) in an Asian vegetarian restaurant years ago so it had been awhile since I'd enjoyed that kind of subtle treat. They also have homemade flan (I love flan so that's dessert next time), and something called Three Colors Dessert (Mung Bean,

The 5 star reviews are authentic and accurate…delicious food, very nice and efficient service and affordable. I decided to give pho another try and this was the place to do it! Very warm, satisfying and well balanced. In addition to the pho, grilled beef with thin vermicelli and regular beef vermicelli, we ordered the green tea, sesame and vanilla ice creams, flan and the iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. The black sesame was good and my friend really enjoyed her green tea ice cream which was mildly sweet. The coffees were strong, mildly sweetened and also good. Our server did not say much but was genuinely friendly, quick and was present when our dinner came out in case we needed anything. He had all our orders looking right! It may be the case that orders are brought out whenever they’re ready; which we appreciated cause that means no one’s food is getting cold and is sitting there unnecessarily. The three of us enjoyed ourselves immensely. We will so be back to eat more of your tasty food :) Highly recommended.

This used to be another Vietnamese restaurant but I think they have changed the owner and changed the name. Food and service were pretty good. They asked if we would like tea or water when we sat down. The menu seems to have more varieties than other Viet restaurants, for example they have shrimp fried crepe (banh xeo) for $10.95 (appetizer), which I don't see in many Vietnamese restaurants. We also ordered one order (4 pieces) pork spring roll for $5.95. We ordered grilled pork chop with rice ($13.95), large house special pho ($12.95), bun with beef and onion ($9.95), and seafood egg noodle ($9.50). For the pho, you can pay more for extra noodle/meat. The pork chop rice dish portion was big for the price. Also, from my experience, not all Vietnamese restaurants have egg noodle/rice noodle section in their menu so that's something different. They also have a seafood section on the menu as well. If you pay cash, you get 10% discount.

I've been getting food "to go" in this restaurant and was able to dine in once. The food is great and did not experienced poor service. Yesterday, I decided to bring the family to eat lunch at this restaurant. It was quite a busy day but that should not be an excuse for the woman server to provide very poor serving skills. She failed to provide plates for the appetizers and when asked to do so, she came back and asked us if we still need it. She serves you the dishes in a hurry and did not bother asking if we got the right order. I ordered food to go so I spent about 146 dollars. My two young boys only eat chicken nuggets and rice. Hence, I have a McDonald nuggets and ordered the two boys two plates of rice in the restaurant. As we paid for the meal, the woman told us it is against the rules of the restaurant not to allow outside food to be eaten in the restaurant. I opted not to say anything anymore. There's 7 of us total; 5 adults and 2 kids. I ordered food to go (3 dishes). Is that not enough to cover for the two kids meals? If the owner is reading this review, you need to send the servers to a customer training course and ensure that they serve the dishes politely and with a smile on their faces. Everyone working there looks grumpy. I will never return to this location anymore and will stick to the other restaurant location in E. Hanover. That woman server...

12/2/2020 When it comes to Vietnamese food, I can be the worst critic. If it doesn't taste like mom's, forget it. I was very impressed with the fact I finally found Vietnamese food that is authentic with great flavors. They have a robust menu to choose from. We had the Pho Tai- broth was clear, not greasy and full of flavor. The raw beef was sliced perfect, very lean no fat or grissle and separated from the rest of the ingredients. There is nothing worse than having bloody noodles when it is usually laid on top of the noodles at other places. The condiments were all there and enough for the small serving. Everything was fresh, especially the basil and beansprouts, unlike other places they try to pass off rotten spotted basil most the time. The other dishes we got were the sauteed squid with lemongrass and the shrimp and green papaya salad. The squid was tender, just a little too much chili pepper for me but good, will ask for mild next time. The papaya salad was excellent everything was fresh and the nouc mam was pleasantly nice. The highlight for me with this dinner was the FLAN! OMG the flan is do die for. Best flan I had in awhile. I look forward to tasting the many other dishes from this place. The customer service was excellent. COVID prevention measures were in place and...
