Starbucks — Restaurant in Pasadena

I was rushing back from a meeting in Pasadena and saw this Starbucks. The great thing about it was it wasn't too busy so I thought to order a Matcha coconut milk late and a lemon loaf.

The only thing was I thing somehow they forgot my matcha coconut milk. I had ordered it to drink at the store and hot. I watched lots of customers pick up their drinks and noticed after a while some had lined up well after me.

I don't like to ask the staff as they always looked busy but I finally did ask was my order still being made and this was at least 10minutes later. They told me they thought it was being made and walked checked with the other staff. Then, it was somehow forgotten. I was a bit disappointed but still wanted my matcha coconut latte so I said it's okay I'll wait.

The thing is it still took several minutes to make and I'm not sure as I make Matcha latte's at home and I can do it in about a minute. Next time I'm in the area I will drop back in as it might have been just an off day for the staff. I feel like the staff tried their best once they realized what had happened.

On the other hand, the Lemon Loaf did not disappoint. In fact, the Lemon Loaf was really fresh and a bit fluffy and lighter than I last remembered it. I've attempted to bake the Starbuck's version of this Lemon Loaf at home multiple times and it's never quite the same. I wonder what they put in it..... Went in about a week or so ago and was treated amazing by whom I'd later find out was the manager (matthew if memory serves me correctly), but the people working to serve the drinks were absolutely terrible. I was made to wait twice excessively while other patrons came in and were treated respectfully and served quickly. Racist/ prejudice or whatever you'd like to call it were certainly at play. I asked for a refill and the cashier (Brixton perhaps) took the glass and order, verified the refill, then had me standing around waiting for about 20 minutes. My wife and child were waiting outside and when I'd get to the counter, the employees would just meander off into the prep area, actively ignoring me. When I finally inquired about the drink, they claimed to have no knowledge and then claimed it was at their discretion. I finally received my coffee and left, I ran into the gentleman that I initially served me, thanked him and offered feedback . He informed me he was the manager and that he's been working on that attitude of theirs. Is this a Starbucks cultural thing or isolated ignorance on behalf of a few...

So I went there with my friends and kid. The older woman who took my order wasnt sure what i order when i told her. I even try to show her what i wanted on the app. On how i get from my past history. As i was waiting the one making my drink asked me again and then i showed her on my app. The older woman than started talking bad about me on how i didnt know how to order and i was dumb right in front me well i was waiting. I was surprised and she just trun away and laughed when she found out i heard her. The older woman work nights should not be working there if she cant be professional or courteous in not every knows how to verbal explain the drink but did try to show her but didnt even look at it by the way.
