ETA: I'm updating my review to 3 total stars after the response back from management. Management has handled this and taken accountability for both their part and the servers part in the poor service and cold food.
Honestly, we haven't had a bad experience until today. We sat for quite a while waiting for our waiter to come and they only came after what may have been the manager asked our table and the table behind us if either of us had been served. Neither of us had. She took the other tables order first because they had been waiting longer, which was fine, and our waiter finally made an appearance after that. He said "sorry, my flow got interrupted." There was hardly anyone in the restaurant so I'm not even sure why his flow was interrupted.
Ordering was not smooth at all. I ordered a white sangria and when he brought it to me, he did not bring the fruit in it, explaining he didn't put it in just in case I didn't like it. A sangria literally comes with fruit in it. That's what a sangria is: fruit and wine. He said he would bring water for us all, never did. All 3 of my older kids ordered peanut butter hot cocos. One got a regular hot cocoa. Ordered a plain milk for my youngest, he tried to give us chocolate milk.
We waited for a LONG time for our food. Husband ordered the strawberry banana French toast combo with the toast as well and the waiter came out with pancakes and hasbrowns. Husband said it was fine, waiter insisted on bringing him the right order and then quite literally forgot about it. Like, he came around a while and asked us if our food was fine and i said "I mean, he hasnt even gotten his french toast so..." and he turned around and said "oh shit!" and went to get the french toast that was now cold-just like everyone else's food that we all received cold. The french toast was obviously meant for something else because my husband said it just tasted weird and didn't even want to eat it. One of my kids wanted more salsa for her breakfast burrito, and we literally told her "please don't, he's obviously having a hard time keeping up with what tables he has already." We got there at around 450 and we didn't leave until well after 6, which is honestly way too long of a time.
Overall, the service is really what did this in. He didn't take our order correctly. He didn't give us any waters and forgot about us and our food completely. But when his friend came in, he was super quick to get to them to give him a birthday present and immediately take their order. His "flow" obviously has priorities. If he's new, he needs more training. If he's not, well, he should absolutely know better. We still left a tip, but man, this was a really...
Read moreUnfortunately I couldn’t rate the food because my food never came. I arrived at 10:30 and was told it was going to be a 20 minute wait which is fine because IHOP is always busy on Labor Day. I was seated at a table at 10:40, server arrived to take our order at 11:10 again I waited because they were busy. I asked the server at 11:35 if our food was almost ready because people that were being seated after us were already eating their food. The server comes over and instead of apologizing she didn’t send our order in she blames it on the tablet and has an attitude, and I was so confused because I asked her nicely if our food was almost ready. Again, it’s a busy day stuff happens. She retakes our order and said it will be first in line. At 11:55 I see others who were seated after I told her our food wasn’t ready eating their food. I got up with my kids and let one of the host know I was leaving and not paying for the 3 hot chocolates my kids ordered because it is ridiculous having to wait for over an hour for our food and not even an apology from the server. We come here every Labor Day because it’s one of the few days I get to sit down and have breakfast with my kids without me cooking. Disappointing...

She never mentioned the switch or introduced the new server. Took 20min for them to notice no one had helped us. After ordering food, took 1hour for the food to be served. Not a single worker stopped to update. 5 min before the food was out one girl came over to ask if we were ready for the ticket!! She assumed we where done eating? Hint we had zero plates on the table!!! What am I paying my juice?? Decided to answer nicely and told her my food hadn’t been served yet!! Finally my omelette got there all cold cheese all dry!! Not a single one of them mentioned they where behind on orders or that waiting time was longer than expected. No one even mentioned before ordering it would take 10years later for the food!!
