Golden Wok — Restaurant in Pasco

Probably the worst Chinese food yet, and I've eaten at some sketchy places. We called in for take-out and the service was fast and friendly. When I arrived, the restaurant looked clean and adaquately comfortable. That's about it. Nothing good from here.

We live about a mile away and I had to wait a couple of minutes to get my order, so why the appetizers were cold is beyond me. We got two BBQ pork appetizers on a buy one, get one half off special. The pork was pretty good, had it not been cold. We ordered eggdrop soup, which was very viscous and orange. The flavor was awful. The soup came with the C3 and C4 combos that we ordered. The sweet and sour chicken was decent. The almond chicken was disgusting. Both are the same chicken, with the two different sauces that you put over them. The almond sauce was gross and looked homogenous. The chicken fried rice was flavorless. The spring rolls were not great, but not bad either. I made a joke to my wife that I bet even the fortune cookies were going to suck. Holy crap, no joke. They actually sucked. No sweet flavor at all. I swear, I cannot make this stuff up.

All in all, we spent $33 with tip. I sincerely wish I could get my $33 back. We are some, so I'm not going to try and get a refund. We will just call it a lesson learned. I am a truck driver , I decided to give these guys a try while a long wait to get loaded up at preferred freezer . It is 23 degrees out so perfect weather for hot soup . I ordered won ton soup and hunan shrimp and scallops . They delivered about 7 miles away that in itself is way cool , the staff was friendly and helpful taking my order , the delivery guy was cool , and the food blew my mind . This place makes delicious food . My hunan meal was hot , the veggies tasted fresh , and their was a nice amount of shrimp and scallops . This is the best won ton soup I ever had , the broth is rich and deliciius , the won tons dough is thick and amazing , they give you a lot , and it was nice and hot . First time here. Had the Curry Beef with fried rice and spring roll combo. The fried rice and Curry beef were great. The spring rolls were fried. I was expecting fresh. I also had the fried crab. This turned out to be imitation crab sticks fried in a light batter and a mild dipping sauce of some kind. I would not order this again. They also included a prepackaged duck sauce for the egg rolls and it was flavorless. The hot and sour soup was okay but lacked the "hot". The ambiance of the restaurant is rather nice but was a bit ruined by the first table as you entered being covered with books, calculator, papers etc. It appeared to be a work desk.
