SO DISAPPOINTED I'm not sure if they are under new management, or what happened, but La Hacienda has gone seriously downhill. We took our out-of-town guests on Sunday 5/4, and we were all thoroughly UNIMPRESSED. The margaritas had NO booze in them, and although we all had one, our waitress never returned to see if we wanted another (which we would have passed - but she never even asked!) My cousin and I both had Arroz Con Pollo, which was just a soupy mess with no rice and very little chicken. It had huge chunks of onion, and maybe three peppers, half the plate was a big pile of lettuce. I was lucky if there was 10 slivers of chicken in the dish. Not sure how i was supposed to eat the "soup" with a tortilla, I left probably half the plate of food after picking out the tiny bits of chicken. My other cousin had a Colorado Burrito, he said it had big chucks of fat & grisle in it - he basically picked through it and ate around the gross parts. Our waitress NEVER returned to ask how our meal was, and we had to stop the chip-delivery person to ask for waters. Also note - they charge 3.99% for credit cards - which is MORE than the credit card companies charge them! Luckily we had cash, but our friends had to pay the fee. All-in-all, we used to really enjoy La Hacienda, but we won't return after this experience, it's just become another chain restaraunt, rush customers in & out with EXPENSIVE,...
Read moreTuesday I brought my two daughters to eat here. we each got combo meals, my daughter got the three taco meal and I got the two enchilada and taco combo with shredded beef. when we were finished we took the left overs to my parents house. That night my daughter got extremely sick and couldn't go to school the next day. My parents who were leaving for the coast that morning got violently sick and I got so sick I had to leave work. this lasted the course of three days. I called the manager who's husband owns the place and told her what happened. She told me that their was a problem with the meat because the worker hadn't checked the expiration date and served it that day. She said that she would pay for our next meal. Although I really didn't like the idea of eating there again , I decided I would try something different at the same value as the meal we purchased before. When I goth there I was told that we were only able to have one senior taco and one enchilada. Basically a portion of the food we had ordered before and she would only let us have the type of food that made us sick the last time. DO NOT GO HERE. You will get sick from food contamination and when you do, you will not be compensated fairly. Defiantly plan on letting the health department know about how food is...
Read moreWe used to go here all the time and the food was great. Kinda fell off the past couple of years and the service as well. I called in an order, came in, paid, and sat and waited a long time. Staff came to the front to give literally everyone else their order, or see what order they were waiting for. Finally my order came out, but they asked everyone but me if it was their order, then just walked away and left me there. The same lady that had just came to the front asked the guy across from me if it was his order again, and he said no again. I stood up and walked over and asked what order it was and she wouldn't tell me. I picked up the bag, looked at the ticket on front and saw it was my order. Then the lady says "you didn't pay". I told her to go check the signed receipt since she ignored me the whole time until I stood up to retrieve my order. I wish I hadn't tipped them a dime, because this service has now become a pattern for what was my favorite restaurant in Pasco. By that time my ceviche had turned warm while my other food was almost cold by the time i got it home. Lesson learned: Don't spend your money in places that you're not welcome. There are too many options to support a business...
