Habaneros Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Paso Robles

We had previously eaten here when we visited Paso Robles last year and enjoyed the food. My husband and I ordered the Burrito Gordo (mine was chicken, his was chile colorado), my daughter ordered the chicken fajitas, my other daughter ordered the Quesabirria tacos, and her fiance got the Quesadillas with beef. The burritos, tacos, and quesadillas were delicious. My daughter who ordered the fajitas though they could have used more flavoring. I'm giving a 5-star rating because the woman who took our takeout orders was extremely patient and helpful given that 2 members of our party hate onions and it took a while to determine what they could order. First place I have ever been that charged for Pico De Gallo (and it was a small shot glass size).

Chorizo Taco= overly salted and not spicy Carne Asada taco= dry meat and under seasoned Al pastor taco= no comment

Charged $7 for a children's portion of rice and beans for a 5 year old. The charge was lowered after talking to the lady who stated that she just added a regular "side." $3.50 for a side of rice at a little taqueria is excessive in the first place.

Also a bean, rice, carne asada and cheese burrito ( as plain as it gets) =$9

I was hoping Paso Robles would have a decent taqueria but I was sorely mistaken. Try other spots.

Absolutely amazing!! Found this spot online and thought we'd try it out. I can't explain how delicious the food was. I had the shrimp cocktail and it was by far the BEST I've ever had! (And I've had many). The shrimp was so fresh. The cucumber, tomatoes, onions and avocado were the perfect ingredients to finish it off. And the flavor. It was absolutely delicious. I mean delicious!!! My husband had the burrito Gordo. He said it was so fresh and filling. The salsa and chips were addicting. We ordered 2 servings. Last but not least, the micheladas. OMG!! perfect, perfect, perfect! We will definitely be back. Great food. Terrific customer service. Must try...
