The Rodeo Bar — Restaurant in Paso Robles

I’ve never left a review before, but after what happened at The Rodeo Bar in Paso Robles, I felt it was important to share.

My friend and I went into the women’s restroom together—something that’s honestly pretty common when you’re out, especially as women looking out for each other. A man named John, who works there, immediately began pounding aggressively on the door and yelling at us to come out. It was loud, intimidating, and completely unnecessary. We weren’t causing a scene, being disruptive, or breaking any laws. It was just two women using the restroom together.

His behavior was over-the-top and made us feel completely disrespected and unsafe. There was no courtesy, no explanation—just aggression. If the bar has a policy around restroom use, it should be communicated clearly and enforced with basic decency, not hostility.

There are plenty of other spots in Paso where you can enjoy a night out without being harassed in the bathroom. I...

Fun lil dive bar. Depending on the night it could be very slow and not too loud or it could be crowded night and you have to wait to play a pool game. As a single woman I feel comfortable to go in and have a couple of drinks alone. It's a dive bar but those are the best places to go. Had me pay 18$ for a single pitcher of bud light... look, I'm from Vegas and we don't even do that to people. Let alone tell them we don't take out of state i.d.'s. That they've been excepting for the last 2 month I've gone there. Just bad service tonight. I really liked that place, but I won't be back...
