We stopped in to fuel up before a full day of wine tasting in Paso Robles..
Touch of Paso Ambiance & Service: This home that was converted to a restaurant definitely give you a personal mom & pop vibe. We sat in the enclosed patio to the side of the house. It was equipped with it's on air conditioning to keep us cool on a hot morning. Our server was on point. She nailed all our orders and kept all the water, soft drinks and coffees fresh. We never had to wave her down. Very good service..
Touch of Paso Breakfast cuisine: All the breakfast dishes this crew ordered were tasty but their omelettes are their strongest plates. Creative, tasty and sized well. I enjoy spicier dishes so I went with the Victor omelette and chili meat sauce paired well with the peppers, jack cheese and avocado. This was flavorful spicy, but not overwhelmingly spicy. I sampled other omelettes outside my own. The seafood omelette was overflowing with shrimp. The chili verde omelette was the best one in my opinion. The fried chicken was a perfect crispy and the strawberry crepes were fantastic. Not too sweet and strawberry lovely.
Overall the Touch of Paso is a solid breakfast choice in the Paso Robles area. We called in a reservation for our party of 13 and they took care of us pretty well. I can definitely see a return breakfast visit next time we're in the...
Read moreWhat a cute place. Good food. Nice people. When I arrived for my first visit at 11:30am the parking lot was packed. Snagged a spot in their parking lot and went in. The cute guy at the door greeted me with genuine warmth and gave me a choice of tables. He brought my water and very soon a nice waitress, "BW", took my order. I could tell she was in full rush mode. However the kitchen wasn't. Took a while to get my salad and before I could swallow two bites my entree arrived. Slow/fast. The salad greens were fresh and crisp. The blue cheese dressing was tasty but a bit thin. Ordered the stuffed chicken breast. Surprised to see the chicken was breaded and fried prior to stuffing. Filled with onions, spinach, and mushrooms. Accompanied by mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans. Waitress asked if I wanted a dinner roll after I had begun eating. I thought it was odd, but I suspect she probably forgot it. Anyway, she brought one and it was tasty and hot. This is a full meal and will hold you over until tomorrow. The restaurant emptied and refilled while I was there. This place seems to be a favorite of locals, especially senior citizens. Nearly everyone was greeted by name and were able to sit at their "usual" table/booth. I noticed the parking lot was still packed when I left. I'll have to try breakfast next time, or one of their...
Read moreThis is my absolute favorite brunch in the entire central coast. I have lived on the central coast for 25 years and in the Paso Robles part for 2 years. This is by far the best brunch in the area and makes everywhere else look mediocre. 1: The food is amazing. You can’t have a good restaurant without good food and this place takes the cake. My personal favorite is the chillequiles it’s sooo tasty and the portions were quite large even filling up a man of my size. 2: The service was perfect. As a former server myself I really respect the professionalism, efficiency, skill, and friendliness of the staff. All our needs were taken care of immediately. They timed everything perfectly and were also so nice. 3: Location. It is located near but not in the Paso Robles market/park area or downtown Paso Robles. This is perfect because there is actually parking available and you don’t have to walk super far to your destination. It’s also close enough to where you can immediately go shopping or see the sights after your meal. 4: prices were absolutely fair. It was not a wallet breaking restaurant. The prices were great unlike many of the other mediocre restaurants around that charge outrageous prices for their mediocre food. The quantity and quality for what you’re getting for the price is as perfect I’ve ever seen.
I LOVE...
