Guthrie's of Peachtree City — Restaurant in Peachtree City

I noticed that ordering in the afternoon to evening my fries are cold and my chicken is tough. So today I asked the manager why that is so and she said that for the afternoon or evening rush, they tend to do large amounts of fries and chicken and so I guess they just warm it up before they serve it. This is not the same fresh taste as lunchtime. I asked her to make me a fresh plate and the gentlemen made me fresh fries, but not chicken. Then she took the box she had already given me with the chicken and fries and bread and said she would make me a brand new plate. I said, thank you and when I got home, it was the same cold french fries that were in the first box and the chicken was even tougher so I believe she did not redo it at all. The slice of bread had the same thumbprint still on it. This is an insult to any customer. It’s usually very good during the daytime and lunch hour. I am very disappointed at the level of service from the tattooed afternoon manager (sorry didn’t get her name). I do not recommend this...

I was really excited about trying Guthrie's even if I'm someone that likes chicken.

I just tried lunch there and I kinda left with some good and some okay or meh.

The good I think is they do have great chicken and I like their signature sauce.

As for the meh about Guthrie's. Guthrie's to me and for the price doesn't stand out differently at all. The chicken and sauce seemed very similar to Zaxby's. For $10.99 if I had to choose between this or Zaxby's I would choose Zaxby's or any of the other places around here that serve chicken around the same price. It's not the staff's fault at all with this. I just don't think Guthrie's stands out at all compared to any of the other restaurants around here and their competition. Doesn't help that they don't offer drinks to come with their boxes.

I like Guthrie's but I'm just saying as for their competition like Zaxby's and other restaurants around here I don't think they stand out and I probably would rather spend my money at the other competition for the same...

I saw that this was a new place so I decided to check it out. I pulled up and never mind about the long wait at the drive thru. At least 12 minutes in drive thru from ordering to getting my food and 1 car was in front of me. No one said hi or anything. I got to the window & he told me the amount. There was nothing pleasant about the employees nor my first experience there. When he gave me the food, there wasn’t a care in the world how it was placed in the bag or anything.
