McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Pembroke Pines

Today I ordered the pick 2 meal, where you can pick 2 items if you cant decide. I have ordered this numerous times in the past. Today however the sandwich was very small, it look as if they cut the bread into 4 pieces and I was served that as my 1/2 sandwich portion. The sandwich was smaller than my hand and I'm a small person. I called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manger. The guy got on the phone and stated he was the manager. He was really defensive as if I would call & complain for nothing. He continually tried to tell me that it was the correct size for the sandwich and that I quote "It should not be no bigger than your hand". I was frustrated and asked him to provide me with a number that I can text a picture of the sandwich too. He provided me with a number and said he will call me back. It's now a few hours later and no response. This has turned me off from going back to this location. If the manager wants to be defensive about a meal that I paid $15 for than he is very unprofessional. I will be reaching out to corporate regarding this matter. DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION, MANAGEMENT ACTS AS IF YOU ARE A LIAR AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. POOR...

I ate a delicious garden salad for lunch. Very generous portion. It was fresh. Customer service was friendly. No wait at the time I went and quick service. Good lemonade.

UPDATE: I've been coming there a lot lately... every time I eat there, the workers are so friendly, courteous, kind, and helpful. The manager is always very gracious, cheerful, and personable. He even goes out of his way to greet a customer by name when he notices it. He is alert and attentive. This is why I keep coming here. The food is always good and the workers are always so pleasant. I stopped by McAlister’s Deli recently and had a mixed-but-pleasant experience. The customer service was easily the highlight—staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure my order was just right. You really feel welcomed, which isn’t something every quick-service spot delivers consistently.

That said, I was a bit surprised by the pricing. For a deli-style meal, things leaned on the expensive side, especially for basic sandwiches and sides. While the food was solid and the environment clean and comfortable, it didn’t fully justify the cost.
