Brienzo's Pizza + Bar — Restaurant in Peoria

Second trip to Brienzo’s and continue to be disappointed. Service is not attentive, atmosphere is loud and cold and pizza is mediocre. Value is just not there. Server continued to run away from the table before we could ask her questions and did not know the menu or draft beers on tap. Clubbing music at 5 on Tuesday…we will pass. Door constantly is letting cold air in and tables are on top of each other…feel like I could finish the neighboring tables conversation. Pizza is just not flavorful. Overall you walk away feeling like you just paid for an overpriced dinner that no one enjoyed. To top it off there are no changing tables in either restroom. Had to change my daughter on the floor and then to my surprise there are no garbage can in the restroom for a stinky diaper. We visited on a Monday evening, one of the limited number of places open on Monday's. The decor is modern, clean, and darker in color. It reminded us of a cool place in a bigger city. We ordered cocktails and appetizers. The service was quick and our server was very friendly. The meatballs and caesar salad were great. We ordered our pizza next and another round of cocktails. The cocktails were all delicious and well balanced. The pizza was cooked perfectly and tasted excellent!! Other pizza places don't always get the crust crispy like we want, theirs was great.

At the Grand Prairie location we placed an order of 3 pizzas and an appetizer for carry out. The estimated time for the order was 30 minutes and when we showed up it wasn’t ready. The staff wouldn’t provide answers and we had to ring a bell multiple times to get their attention while they were acting unprofessional in the back. They continued to tell us it was almost ready to keep us around and we ended up waiting somewhere between 30-45 minutes, they had well over an hour to prepare our food and couldn’t get it done.
