Once again Hy-vee has impressed me. If you are a veteran or active duty military go to Hy-vee on veterans day. I can't say enough. From hy-vee employees to the Manual high school JROTC members there . They greet you at the door. Thank you for your service (a genuine thank you) give you a coupon for 15% off of your grocery purchase. They give you a Hy-vee military challenge coin. Then they serve you this awesome breakfast from the buffet. Everything from delicious rolls to eggs , fresh fruit and all the traditional breakfast items. Bakery: Cakes are wonderful and delicious, however 2 years in a row I have made my order for my sons birthday cake paid in advance and both years get there and the cake is not there. Every year my kids get to design their own cake and to not have it at their party is heart breaking. They did give us a full refund and free cake that was already made..but not my babies special made cake that was paid for in advance. So disappointed in this because the cakes...
