Claude's Prime Seafood, located in Levis Commons, Perrysburg, Ohio, is undoubtedly one of the finest seafood establishments I've had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment we stepped through the entrance, the attention to detail and commitment to customer comfort were evident.

The ambiance begins with a well-designed entrance and waiting area, thoughtfully separated from the main dining space. This strategic layout adds to the overall comfort and intimacy of the dining experience, making patrons feel at ease.

When my wife and I found ourselves seated at a spot that wasn't ideal for us, the staff promptly accommodated our request to move to another open table. A beautiful new Restaurant. Massive amounts of seating but so much quieter than the owners' other restaurants in the area thanks to Dividers and much more well-planned Sound Treatment. Our server was wonderful, attentive and helpful. We never felt forgotten or not immediately taken care of, but rather intentionally served and appreciated. The appetizers ranged in size but were mainly meant to be shared (except for the Tempura Crab), from Shrimp Cocktails to the Muscles the dishes were large servings meant for the table and were delicious! The Chive Dip was lacking of much flavor and the Vegetables it came with were freezing cold (intentionally) making for a lackluster entry among the other pallet stretching experiences. In the main course: Lobster Tail, Tuna Tartare and Fish and Chips were all knockouts and delicious with every bite that we couldn't help but share. The French Fries were a big step down in quality from the Company's other restaurants, but their homemade Chips were amazing. Our kids were able to enjoy some more than decent Chicken Tenders and Fries, which is always appreciated. Salads were decent-sized portions, relatively heavy in Dressing and lighter in tasty greens but overall very good. The Cobb, Wedge and Caesar all did not disappoint but didn't leave any of us wow'd. Dessert in the form of Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream and some Cappuccinos were ok but certainly did not set itself apart from other restaurants or food places in the area enough to recommend. I can say with full confidence that this is miles beyond any other nice seafood restaurant in the area. Mancy's Bluewater and the Seafood Company honestly cannot even compare.

Claude's has a definite upscale feel and service, much like its sister Benchmark. It's surprisingly spacious once you get in, although I would highly recommend making reservations ahead of time. Wait staff works together and you never feel like you are waiting, even though you have a primary waiter for the table.

While the menu doesn't provide a large quantity of choices, the options provided are varied and different enough that virtually anyone should be able to find something they like. That being said, the slightly limited variety is MORE than compensated for by the cuisine styles mixed in the dishes presented. The chef has come up with some combinations that I never would have dreamed to put together, and the results are FANTASTIC.

The yuzu aioli that came with the fried seafood appetizer had a bit of a smokey flavor and yet was subtle enough to not at all overpower the calamari. The black truffle risotto was very likely the best risotto I've ever had in my life - and I am not a fan of truffle flavor whatsoever. My ahí tuna came soaked in a panang curry, which combined with the seasoning on the tuna was simply amazing. Finally, the key lime pie was even better than Kermit's (if you have ever been to Key West).
