I really don't know where to begin. I love Chipotle Mexican grill; it is one of my favorite restaurants. I love the experience and being able to create my own dish. But when I walked into this location it did not feel like any previous Chipotle Mexican grill experience.
My first thing was to go into bathroom to wash my hands. I was a little bit concerned when the soap dispenser did not work. I went to go get assistance from a worker and their response was "it's broken". Moments later there was a sign on the door but the restroom was out of order. But the restroom was still open for use.
That was a major concern because how are employees washing their hands? We were directed to just use hand sanitizer. That should have flag a concern for me to leave however there is a sink with soap and hand sanitizer behind the staff workstation. I had two options to use the men's room to wash my hand or to wash my hands with hot water and hand sanitizer.
The ordering process was pretty much the a great experience. The person who fixed my bowl was extremely friendly and considerate with my menu selections.
The cashier was kind of disapproving when I mentioned that we were dining in instead of taking out as she was begging her food. She unbagged her food and left it on the countertop. She seemed preoccupied and annoyed.
The pictures speaks for itself as far as the environment. There was not a clean table in sight. We had to clean our own tables. When I asked for soap and a rag to clean the table the worker looked at me as if they couldn't understand what I was requesting. They said they didn't have one. I went to the restrooms and got paper towels and hand sanitizer and soap to clean the tables so that we were able to dine in.
It wasn't necessarily a busy time of the day, but there was a constant flow. There were a couple of workers that were standing around. Clearly someone could have cleaned off the tables so that the customers would have a clean place to sit and eat. Before we left we made sure our area was clean so that someone would be able to come and sit in our area.
The food was good. They were running out of everything - guacamole, chips and queso. The chips were not fresh which was disappointing. I look forward to the chips and queso and the flavored teas and lemonades every time I visit a Chipotle.
Chipotle Mexican grill will always be on my radar whenever, wherever I travel because I really enjoy the experience. This particular location definitely needs help or management to...
Read moreI entered the store with a severe bachache for a KIDS MEAL and there was a long line. So I placed an order online thinking I could have the order brought to my car for curbside. Hey don’t judge me, I’ve never ordered online before. OK, so I placed the order it told me what time to pick it up INSIDE. As I waited in pain I tried calling multiple times but no one answered. I went inside at 2 minutes prior to pickup because it didn’t give me the option to choose a drink choice and I asked the cashier about it. She gave me a cup but her facial expression was as though I were asking for something for free when I had actually already paid for it. Then I looked at the pickup area for food orders and there was food everywhere. The area was very unpleasant to see and the food wasted was old and it just looked really disturbing. So I asked the same cashier if I could have my order made from the main line where it was fresh and clean right? She said I could but I would have to cancel my order online and place a new one basically being rude for no reason and saying yeah but but get in the back of the line. This was horrible and i was highly annoyed as I thought the appropriate thing to say was yes of course ma’am we can do that! The worst customer service ever!!!! Then I asked if she was the manager because i could tell with the aggressive attitude and demeanor she wasn’t just a cashier and she said yes I am. So I asked her what her name was and she said Belinda. Dear chipotle with all that said I will cancel all Uber eats orders from this location and I will not recommend this location to any of my coworkers friend or family and I will discourage them from ordering here as well. Utterly disrespectful and the worst customer...
Read moreI normally don’t write reviews but tonight made me frustrated enough where I wanted to write a review and I hope the store manager sees this. I stopped by after 7pm for takeout (05/29) and saw that it was taking some time at the counter. No matter, then I saw the line behind me grow longer and saw that there was only one employee taking orders and filling them.
There was another employee fulfilling delivery orders on the side and another employee cooking in the kitchen. There was a cashier who later went to schmooze in the back of the kitchen with two other employees - one who was slowly filling sauce containers and another carrying extra containers to the front - also slowly. There was one employee who was dancing in front of the time clock to leave, with what seemed like the others cheering them on.
The most utilized employee was the one feverishly filling orders diligently, and taking extra time to check on fresher lettuce in the fridge for a customer who saw the lettuce was old in the existing fridge. I was impressed by this employee but also felt a lot of sympathy for why she was working alone when I normally see two workers handling the food orders - understaffed like everywhere else.
But the biggest concern was why the employees were not really offering to jump in - all hands on deck when dinner time rush was clearly filling up the store- check the camera footage and see the cashier rushing back to the kitchen to talk with the sauce filler employee and schmooze while there are customers waiting at the cash register. I later see this employee happily grab their bag and clock out. What a shame - the food is good and I think that employee working alone should be...
