So far I have been a couple of times for their opening and for a company function.
First foremost I have to give this place credit for trying to be an all year round place because the water park in general is seasonal. So why waste space or a business if you’re only open during the summer months when the water park is open.
Their bar area is very open both inside and outside. They have a great selection of alcohol to choose from. For the mix drinks, so far the ones I have had were not bad at all. I am really impressed with the bartenders skills here. There is bar seating inside and outside. They have some areas setup for corn hole both inside and outside. Also, there are couple of pool tables. But having my own pool table at home. I was not impressed with their pool tables. There are only two and they are very cheap quality to include the cue sticks. They really need to get some bar or regulation pool tables with the right type of felt on the table. They plenty of space for regulation size pool table. They definitely need to keep kids off the tables because if you want adults to have a good time, you need to make sure your pool tables and cue sticks are up to par for adults.
As for the food, so far it my opinion it a okay, but not something that just brings that ecstatic feel when you eat something that is delicious and unique. Their barbecue doesn’t impress me because it’s just missing that Texas BBQ taste that you get when you go to a great barbecue restaurant in Texas.
Their milk shakes, now those are really impressive and look delicious. They do take some time to make, so be prepared to wait. Trust me you will not be disappointed when you receive your shake.
As for the staff, they are always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. So far the staff do go above and beyond to make your experience here a welcomed and fulfilled one.
Parking, what can I say?? There is plenty of parking here! LoL This place just needs for word of mouth and advertising to get the attention it needs. I don’t think too many of the locals know about this place yet being open...
Read moreI did not expect much, but I did not expect what happened. I decided to buy a bacon cheeseburger with french fries for 1399. I used my wristband so I got the season pass discount was a couple dollars. So, I spent about $12 for a burger. OK. I asked if I could wait for hot fries to which the cashier told me that the fries are hot, but my burger is going to take five minutes. OK. So the dead fries and the wilted bun showed up. I began to deconstruct the burger to put all the fixings on, only to discover that the cold piece of cheese that was thrown on top of a burger patty that had been used before, they scraped off the original melted cheese, then threw it on my bun. It was absolutely horrendous. And everything was totally cold, of course. So, I went back to the counter and showed it to the gaggle of employees standing around; they just stared at me. I asked if I could please have a fresh burger. I waited for a number of minutes, doubt growing, and then fear that these teenagers would retaliate with snot or boogers or a good swipe on the floor. I decided I did not want to take that risk and I’d rather have a refund. So I guess it was a ‘manager’ who showed up. She explained to me that even though I could purchase the burger using my wristband, I had to have the actual card that I use to load my wristband. so I had to walk back to my table to get my car key, walk all the way out to the parking lot to get the card out of my car and then went back to the counter for a refund.
I have to say, that being a mother, I now have the patience of 1000 saints and I did not lose my mind or flip my lid. Rather than a public display of anger, which is never attractive, I consoled myself with the knowledge that I could at least let all of Google know my experience and my non-recommendation of this place. It’s...
Read moreThe Patio has a strong start with a good atmosphere, friendly staff, and plenty of patio space so you don't feel crowded. The food was fine with the pickle fries standing out from our meal. The margarita flight was fun, but featured a very basic tequila with a rough finish. It's a good family spot during Corona, but don't expect a unique culinary experience - more a well-rounded place for familiar food,...
