The owner (I think it's a short bald Caucasian guy) was visibly angry (actually followed me out of the restaurant).
I went in asking for a diet Coke or anything with caffeine. He didn't seem to have anything and I asked if he had a bathroom. He didn't seem to hear me so I asked again and he looked up and smiled kinda angrily saying "yes I have a bathroom" which he pointed me to. I use it and leave because they didn't have anything I could drink.
He chases me out saying "friend do you want a root beer" and I say "no I just really needed something with caffeine in it" and he very angrily said "you just wanted to use my bathroom."

Great natural light, comfortable seating + a small outdoor space, and one of the coziest settings for a drink in the city! Such a nice change of pace from some of the more cold, sterile taprooms opening these days.
FYI: There are some snacks and guest food options on occasion, but probably best to grab a bite elsewhere. A few non-beer and non-alc drinks are available as well. Very family-friendly during the day. If you’re a history buff, be sure to check the hours for the...
