Lovely sweet people. Food is good. Service is partially slow, but you can't rush good food. Items that I had baked turkey wings (, mac n cheese, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes with gravy, and dressing. All were good. They need to serve a bread. My bestfriend had the fried fish and it was soooo good. I wouldn't recommend the greens...they were missing something besides hot sauce. Great to see a black owned and operated place thriving. Im from Indiana and I will be back. Tips: It's a takeout kind of spot...there's 2 tables, but not much room. They take cards. Not much parking

Food was okay. Turkey meatloaf wasn't seasoned. Tasted liked cooked ground turkey and that's it. No seasoning or flavor. The grvay was also bland. My mother had the fried swai and said it was seasoned well. I was excited to try this restaurant, but sadly disappointed because there was no flavor on any of the food. I waited all day to try this place and was very upset. It may have been an off day for the food selection I chose.

I've been rocking with Ms Debbie before she opened her restaurant, which was over twenty years ago. My favorites are the fried chicken wings, turkey wings over rice and gravy, potato salad, and yams. She caters our client parties and we get food from her for our staff parties too. Your best bet is to order way, way ahead of time.

The food here is absolutely delicious. They have so many vacations though. Almost every time I come to Philly, they're closed, so I've only been there once. I wish they would have an interim person to run it when they're on vacation.

Back to the food: We ordered the turkey wings platter with cabbage and mac and cheese plus the fried whiting meal with broccoli, string beans and some more mac and cheese. Their baked macaroni and cheese was sooooo good, tastes almost like my mom's. The turkey wings had a tasty gravy on top and were moist and tender. I liked the broccoli; it was lightly seasoned and not mushy and overcooked. The fish was flaky and perfectly seasoned, not overly salty and tough. The string beans and cabbage were both tasty: not stringy, not overcooked, and I'm glad there was no pork in them.

I would definitely return and have recommended them. Hopefully next time I come,...

Deborah’s makes hands down the best chocolate bundt cake I have ever tasted! It’s lush and rich and moist, but not too sweet. A forkful in your mouth evaporates into a chocolate mist that I imagine would elate Willy Wonka! It is immediate blissful joy and the lemon cake is even better, heaven must be like this! HOWEVER, I have been to this place 7 times and they only had it twice! The rest of the cake selections are not even close to the chocolate experience. This is frustrating because the counter people don’t know the difference between the chocolate and the chocolate mousse which will put you in a diabetic coma. The employees move at a glacial pace so extreme that you feel yourself aging. I don’t know how they stay in business! They always have everything but their best sellers! If they were faster and had better business sense/customer service, they would be...

I don't want to be that person that give a low rating, so I'll still give 4 stars. I visited the restaurant for the first time in over 10 years. I just remembered that I enjoyed the chicken breast sandwich last time( I usually hate fried chicken breast because people overcook it). I ordered the chicken breast sandwich today and it costed close to $12 for it😑. Mind you they have menus with no prices so I was kinda surprised by the price. I got to the car and there was a band wing and a small overcooked chicken breast! I'm super disappointed because I was really looking forward to that sandwich. Hopefully next time is better. I'll give them another chance since I unintentionally went within 30mins to closing. Idk I guess we'll see! I know I used to love the banana pudding too so I'll probably try that again too to see if...
