Itâs a great new dive-ish bar in the area. Big bar with 3 TVs with tables and TVs in the back. The draft list is just okay but I assume itâll get better with time (they need more local beers and then a cheap domestic option). Havenât tried the food yet. The service is awesome. The bartenders are super cool. Itâs just a good vibe kinda place.
Edit: rooting for them still but I had jerk wings and they were just not good at all. So over-fried and dry with little flavor and skinny bones. I definitely wonât try wings here again but maybe some of the other food is okay.
Still love it but the need to do a better job with the draft beer - last time the only beer on draft out of 8 drafts that was available was Guinness (which I love so it was fine but...
Read moreGood Good Things was such an awesome surprise, tucked away in the corner of Center City just off the beaten path but still super accessible. Upscale dive-y feeling bar- has AMAZING wings. Bartender Sara was cool as shit, made great recommendations. Music was amazing, great punk/ new wave/ 80s/ 90s mix without fatiguing you too much with any genre. Wall art pays tribute to so many amazing bands that have played FU Church/ who are important to the owners. Descendents, Cro-Mags, The Smiths, David Bowie- eclectic mix of stuff. Refreshing place to find in this location. Canât wait to stop in again after work or on my way to...
Read moreIm glad we stumbled into this one. The beers are good and cheap, the atmosphere is nice and the bar staff are friendly. The beers ended up being some of the cheaper drafts we have had with some good beers as low as $6 which you dont see often. We stuck up some conversations with the bartenders and they gave us some recommendations for later. I didnt check if there was more seating in the back but the front is pretty much all bar seating or wall seating so maybe not a great spot for large groups but good for a solo or partner to grab a drink with. Overall a cool place for a...
