Mix Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Philadelphia

So I'm going to start out by saying at the experience wasn't all that great. But I will give them credit for trying to make it right. Acknowledging when a mistake was made and good customer service means everything. After a long day of being out and exploring the city my wife and I wanted to sit down for a meal and a drink. So we sit at the bar and order. The drinks come right away in about 15 minutes later my wife gets her meal. I sat waiting patiently for my food but it never came. I inquired with a guy who look to either be a manager or the owner. He went back and checked and somehow my order had been forgotten. I had a train to catch and couldn't afford to wait any longer. He apologized for the error and took my beer off of the bill. I left hungry but I am not one to make a big fuss. The liquid bread meal was better than nothing! My wife enjoyed her BLT sandwich. Not sure what was going on with them that day because the woman next to me at the bar had the same thing happen with her. If we make it back, hopefully it will be better. From where I sat, the pizzas...

Stopped in after visiting a local museum, only one server for multiple indoor and outdoor tables, and he was obviously overwhelmed.

The first beer he brought me was not what I ordered, but that was quickly remedied. My child's food came out way ahead of the rest of the party. Then, two hot chicken sandwiches came out, before the cold, chicken Caesar wrap....which we had to ask for multiple times only to have the delay blamed on the kitchen. When we asked the third time, with the intention of canceling the order, the server said it was being made at that moment. Sadly, we still waited and finally said to forget it (I ate my kid's leftover pizza and fries). It was presented to us, and comped (as it should be), and in turn we feda local person experiencing homelessness.

This place needs more staff....and they need to be much more attentive. The others seemed happy with their lunch, but considering our overall experience, I will not return, nor will I recommend to...

I tried this place for delivery twice. It was Great! Delivery was fast. With unexpected company .. On July 7, 2018 .. I bragged about MIX .. and decided to place to an order. 2 large ... One chese and one garden. We received 2 large cheese. I called immediately and with no apology the order taker first asked me if I touched the one of two cheese pizza's. Second, she said she would send the garden pizza. Third she said "NOW YOU'RE SURE YOU DIDN'T TOUCH THE OTHER PIZZA"!? Not thinking and .. on my honor .. I said NO. When the same delivery person arrived with the correct pizza .. all of the toppings had slide off of the dough .. Abvioiouly handled on the side .. and it was ice cold. It looked like garbage. Of course it went in .. the garbage! Tried to reach the manager several times to no avail. Because of this .. if I could give a minus zero I would. Humm .... I womder who ate the returned large cheese...
