I like this place for my basic needs. As for food, I would not recommend unless you check the expiration date. I’ve experience two times when I went in there to buy the garden pasta in the fridge and some other Asian food only to get home and realize it was had expired for a long time! One product was 2 weeks and the other was a few months. Of course the owner was kind enough to accept my return but his first question after I told him the product was expire was, “did you taste it?”. As if to resell again? Nice place. People are awesome. Great selection of essentials. The best breakfast sandwiches you're going to find in Philly for the price, insane value.

Only complaint - they close early...they are supposed to be open until 8 but I have tried to go twice at around 745 and they have been closed. It's annoying because I make the trip out there...arrive during business hours...and then they're closed. I still like this place but they just need to change the hours to say they closed at 730 if that is when they are...

The service is fast and efficient, the food is good at very competitive prices, and everybody I've dealt with has been very nice. The tuna sandwich and apple/kale salad are my goto - and I'd be hard-pressed to name a better salad in the area - and I just tried a breakfast sandwich today, which was also good.
