Lil Trent's Grille and Pizzeria — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Such a horrible experience. I called when they opened at 11am for a 1pm delivery for a small party at my job today. The female call taker put me on hold a few times to ask questions in her background for accuracy. This was fine because we both needed to be sure the order was correct and doable. AGAIN, I called at 11:02am to be exact. The call taker stated I needed to pay over the phone for such a large order. My total was around $163. At 11:36, I receive a call from the establishment telling me they could not fulfill my order by 1pm, and if I still wanted the order, I would after 1pm and I would be charged an additional 20% due to calling so close to the pickup time. This confused the hell out of me because I called when they open at 11am. I was told I should've called the day before if I did not want to be charged the additional 20%. I asked for a refund and had to place an order elsewhere. I then received another call stating the call taker spoke with the owner and if I still wanted the order they could make it. No thank you and I will never attempt to patronize this business again. Such poor...

I only tried because I saw the ‘raving’ reviews… I guess… during their time when the food was ‘great’ .. I had to be there… smh. I ordered a Buffalo chicken egg roll … it tasted fine. But I thought it would be an eggroll with Buffalo sauce inside.. Blue cheese, you know… Buffalo style. But it was a small eggroll, fist size, cut in half… too much money for the size IMO… and I had to dip in hot sauce… is how I got the Buffalo effect…, . Then my mom ordered a flounder sandwich, she said the fish was as hard as a brick and the bread was stale. I watched the man behind the counter throw this order together… but I figured, I was trippin since everybody saying how good it is… ordered onion rings with the fish, never got them.. paid for them and got all the way home to see no avail… tried to look for a phone number to call them… there was a number embedded somewhere. Not visibly on the site or anything. But no answer. not happy at all. And I am a foodie. If any of this experience had been good, I would have NEVER...

There was a group of 7 women and we had just left the Katt Williams Comedy Show heading back to Maryland, so most of us wanted just a little something to hold us over and since it was late night. So my Cuz saw pizzeria in the name and said let's stop there. The rest is 'Delicious History' thank you Lil' Trent and the 2 other gentleman that were cooking. The group ordered pizza, fries, steak subs, and chicken subs, but they also had a salmon sub. I will be scheduling a drive up to Philly soon just to try that salmon sub; which will be a difficult choice considering my chicken cheese sub was the best I've ever had in my 57 yrs. We all was very very pleased with everything we ordered. There was a wait even that late at night, but a well worth it wait. We actually was 1 of 3 of the last customers that were there waiting and we closed the restaurant down with a personal shot out to Lil' Trent as he locked up. Huge Kudos to the 3 man staff that was holding it down and representing on Sunday...
