Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I asked what came with a kids meal and was told apple juice, applesauce, chicken or nuggets, fries and a toy. I ordered a kids meal and said I wanted it exactly how it comes. Then I was told they ran out of apple juice so I would need to get a different drink, okay it happens I understand. I pulled up to the window and paid. I got the bag and realized there was no toy and no apple sauce. When I asked the woman at the window about the toy she didn't understand the question, so she got someone else. The other lady asked me if I was asking about the 40 cent upcharge for the drink (which I definitely shouldn't have been charged for because I only got a different drink because they didn't have the drink that came with the meal) and then she proceeded to tell me that they didn't have any toys because they didn't get a shipment in. Why not tell me that at the speaker box when I initially asked about the meal? So I basically paid $9-$10 for a kids meal that wasn't a kids meal. My daughter got some nuggets, fries and a small drink. I will never go to this Popeyes again. Horrible service. Horrible everything. I don't recommend stopping here...even if you...

I just came back from this restaurant, the person whose taking my order claiming that he’s been there for 5years. I went there brought coupon from weekly circular for 10pcs chicken/meal. When i’m about to pay i asked him to scan my reward (to get points-not to redeemed). He then said that i’m doing 2 discounts by giving coupon and scanning my reward. I had a little bit argument with him because i told him it’s 2 different thing. After back and forth arguing he then told me “oooo you’re Chinese and bla..bla…bla” i stopped him right there and told him that its not right pointing out some one race. I told him that i’m not chinese and not all asian is chinese. Been to this store many time and this is the first time i feel not so welcome. This is happens on January 31 2025 at 5.45pm. The management need to asked whoever worked there as a witness of this...

This place has its up and downs, could be better. Once school lets out down the street, the wait can be painfully long as they don't add staff to make up for the influx of customers. Service is fine except for the one heavy set African American girl who serves people with an attitude and or won't wait on you if she thinks she has a problem with you prior., as I had and I'm a steady customer. She lacks work ethic and makes the wait longer than it need be She has no work ethic nor customer service skills and will avoid working if she can. I've limited my purchases there when she's on and will turn around and walk out the door, as I don't believe in paying for and eating people who serve me attitudes.
