Bubble tea is fragrant. However, there's only been one time where I arrived in store and got my order within 5 minutes. I've been here about 4 times, each time ordering online and waiting minimum 15 minutes before I even start making my way there. And every time I've been there, I've noticed their physical line is long(10-15 mins), that's why I keep ordering ONLINE and giving it time so it would almost be done when I got there. However, it seems like this place rarely checks their online orders. You always gotta bug the person at the register to check them(seems it's part of being up front) to print your order slip out so the guys in the back can make it.
The last time I went there as the worst. They took FOREVER. The last time I was there, I ordered online at about 2:11(I can't remember the exact hour, but I do remember it was 11 minutes into the hour). I waited 20 minutes before I headed into the store since I know they take awhile. By the time I got my drinks(it was 2 drinks - not a huge order or anything) it was like 3:20. They need to learn how to prioritize orders better. I ordered at 2:11, yet someone orders in person at like 2:40 and get their drink before me?
Since I was waiting so long, I was observed the girl at the register, and I just need to know, was the boss's wife working for fun or something that day? She put all the cups of the orders she took in a different spot in the cup queue every time - some in front and some behind. That's why some people randomly got their stuff fast and some didn't. And then there was this one guy, black/blond hair - he needs a raise. Seriously. He's making drinks like crazy while peeling off the stickers from the order cups and putting them on the correct one because the girl kept putting the stickers on the wrong size/type cups, and after every 2-3 drinks he made he would have to then DISTRIBUTE the drinks - which I know is the duty of the register person, AKA the girl cause I've been here several times. It was ridiculous. If she was new, they need to train her better. She held everything up so bad, and she also has no manners or management skills. If you're at a Starbucks and they see you standing around for more than 10 minutes, they check on you. I watched one guy stand there for 25 minutes before he asked her about is drinks. She looked annoyed at him, printed his order slip, and put it in the back of the cup queue. Takes an in person order and puts that cup in the front. He asked about his stuff another 2 times. Not once did the girl apologize for the wait, instead, she just looked annoyed. She also did not communicate to the back to rush the order as another place would've if they realized they left someone waiting so long. It was ridiculous. Maybe I'll come back next year to see if things have gotten better, or maybe it'll be slow cause no more customers, or maybe they'll close down by...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of trying the house-special milk tea at Teazzi in Chinatown, and it was an absolute delight! This cozy little shop has won me with its unique milk tea take.
The house-special milk tea is great. It comes with delightful boba and oats that add a wonderful texture to the drink. The combination of flavors is simply outstanding, creating a comforting and refreshing taste. It's the perfect blend of sweetness and richness, making it an instant favorite for me.
Additionally, the honey amber oolong milk tea is a must-try. The subtle notes of oolong combined with the natural sweetness of honey create a harmonious and sophisticated flavor profile.
The ambiance of Teazzi adds to the overall experience. A fancy spot with a friendly staff that enhances the enjoyment of their fantastic drinks. The attention to detail in both the presentation and taste of the teas reflects the commitment to quality.
Whether you're a milk tea enthusiast or just looking to try something new, I highly recommend stopping by for a sip of their house-special milk tea and exploring their...
Read moreMost recent experience very bad, overall I would still rate them 3 stars.
Let’s say some good things first: good tea. Good atmosphere.
Here’s my complaints from mostly my recent visit:
I asked for a cheese floam, they sealed it with the thin cover, I asked where is the lid for cheese floam, the barista IMMEDIATELY responded we don’t have the lid for it. Then another barista responded with the lid and ask is this the one you’re looking for. Very poorly trained staffs that I’ve encountered for my recent visit. They should’ve know that a cheese floam should not be sealed, there’s a special lid for it. They should’ve know better to not having the habit of denying things. Definitely not in the service industry.
Let’s talk about cheese floam, it should float well without forming a dense mass in the center. Texture is definitely weird.
The tea is still good. I would still recommend to try out their tea. But experience wise,...
