Originally I gave a 1 star review because I received very poor service on more than one occasion. I am a frequent customer at this location, we order from there once or twice a week at least. The staff mostly consists of adolescents who lack customer service experience because it’s probably their first job so I try to be patient with them because I remember a time when I was in their place. I have been coming here for years and a few weeks ago I had the worst experience by far when I waited over an hour for my order which was only spaghetti and salad. I had checked with a young man to see if I missed them calling my name after about 35 minutes because I saw people come in after I had, ordered pizzas and leave before me and his response was “did we call your name?” I told him “no, I don’t think so but I wanted to check.” He cut me off and said “if we didn’t call your name then we’re still waiting on it.” I became more and more irritated as the third employee told me “someone’s checking on it” after a good 50 minutes. Finally one of the young ladies working there came and told me they had lost my order and It would be out shortly. She genuinely felt bad I could tell. I thanked her when she finally brought me my order and apologized. I almost decided to never return and to find a new pizza restaurant near by but a few days later I returned because my employees wanted Barros for our team meeting and I figured I’d give them one more chance. I was very pleased I did when the manager came out and apologized for what had happened that day. He was very polite, professional and helpful. I thanked him for making things right even days later when he really didn’t have to. I could tell he sincerely cares about his customers. I have been back several more times after that and I am very pleased to see a change in the restaurant. He had mentioned he was sent to that store to fix it up and I can tell he has done a great job in doing so. I have not had anything other than outstanding service since and I hope he continues to make such a great impact at that location. I am very happy I went back that day and gave them a...
Read moreI don't ever do this hence the reason why it took me two days of pure utter disgust and disappointment in what was literally the worse experience I've ever had w/a pizza restaurant or there lack of. I rarely even eat food like this anymore and this Barro's pizza reminded why. I called to place an order at 7:45pm which started off w/what seemed like an employee bad day. Bad attitude from the start. Placed the order for a medium Pizza and 12 wings. Quoted me over $29. I was a bit blown away by the price and asked if they had specials. Little miss "I hate my job" says, "Aghhh yeah! $29.99 for 1 large pizza and 24 wings!" Obviously change my order to the special which now turns into $35.88. Wow!!! Ok. No problem. After waiting patiently for an hour and 5 mins for delivery I decided to call because I'm starving at this point. Another miss "I hate my job" answers so I immediately ask for a manager. Manager decides to argue about the time I placed my ordered, not considering the fact that "I HAVE THE TIME I CALLED ON MY PHONE!!!" Also tells me that there is a wait time of 1 hour and it's stated on the receipt. Of course I don't know this cause I don't have my food nor the receipt in which now is going on 1 hour and 15mins. And also would've been nice to know when I first placed my order. I finally get my food which is to no surprise to me is COLD and a box in which a dozen honey BBQ wings were in was crack and had leaked everywhere. I would definitely not EVER recommend this ppace to anyone and since they do not have a minus rating chart I can't place them any lower. The owner of this place should be embarrassed of his staff and this horrendous establishment and hang his head in shame. Worst $35.88 i have ever spent on any food none the less 1 large cold pizza and 24 cold tornado hit wings....
Read moreI have enjoyed Barro's pizza as my favorite pizza place for over 20 years at different locations. The food is mostly good with a few exceptions. My issue is with some delivery staff to be specific 3. The issue has been with one person 3 times, another one time and tonight with a third individual for the first time. When I order my food online it is paid for via credit card and includes my tip. The receipt always shows paid in full at the bottom. Tonight as with the 4 other times, I was told by Efren Chagoya that I needed to sign the receipt. This time I didn't bother pushing back because I knew I was done with Barro's. Realistically in the past 20 years I have ordered over 300 times not to mention the people I encouraged to order from them. Why do I need to sign a receipt. I have heard it is confirmation that I have received order or it is just store policy? What if I asked for the food to be dropped at my door which is an option. How would you get a signature then? Why are they asking? Is it to try and get me to tip again? I tip at least $5 every time for a delivery that is less than .5 miles away. I think that is fair. There is some type of shenanigans afoot and it is unacceptable. I will be ending my patronage to this restaurant and all Barro's locations. Might seem petty but as an long time customer I will not longer be a part of something suspicious and dubious. Goodbye Barros's pizza I will not miss these three yahoos that are clearly trying to get over on their customers. I will also never recommend Barro's to anyone and if the restaurant is brought up I will provide my opinion that a small amount of delivery driver's are opportunists and are questionable human beings....
