Breakfast Club — Restaurant in Phoenix

Mix feeling about this place.

FOOD: I got a smoked salmon toast and boiled eggs. The toast was very good, but the eggs had a gray ring around the yolk, according to my research it it's a sign of been over cooked. The ring is caused by a chemical reaction involving sulfur, and it's is ok to eat but not in big amounts. So I skipped the egg. The salmon toast was very full filling so I was ok. I also got a carrot juice and it was very good but it wasn't cool enough it was more of a room temperature.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: We were seated very quickly because we got there before 9 AM. They were already busy on a holiday Monday. I have to say I was glad they were open, they are the only restaurant open before 9 AM around this area on a holiday Monday. Staff are ok between basic and average friendly. The thing I found "funny" it's that when we got the pad to signed the check the gratuity was already pre set to a % I was not comfortable doing. The person just said " your check is ready I just need your signature". So ... if you don't paid collar attention they will decide how much tip they will get from you.

BUILDING: They have a lot of inside and outside tables, outdoor tables are dog friendly. The ambiance is casual. The place has a clean and updated appearance.

PRICE: two meals and two drinks for about 50.

LOCATION: There are in a Main Street and surrounded by other restaurants and shopping areas. Therefore the near parking spaces...

I drove 30 minutes across the city to meet a friend here for brunch. I arrived 15 minutes early so I could get on the joinlist. Initially it said 15-20 minute wait - perfect. I checked again after 5 minutes and it said 10 minute wait - again, as expected. Less than a minute later I received a text that I had been removed from the join list. Confused, I went to the host and asked her what happened. She said I didn't check in with her - I said I was expecting a text that my table was ready and she was swarmed with people, so I waited. She said next time, check in with her and we were now 4th in line. When I told her the app even says there is a 15 minute hold on your place, and I had in fact been early and then just removed, she didn't respond more than to repeat we were 4th in line and one of the other hosts standing there, a young blonde woman, literally rolled her eyes at us. It was shockingly rude and very poor service. We waited an additional 25 minutes and were finally seated. The food was delicious and our waiter was very friendly and did a great job, thus two stars instead of one, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone on any sort of schedule or who...

Today was my first visit to BC dont think I would go back. We waited 30 minutes for a table that had potatoes and onions on the floor underneath, poor first impression. I don't mind waiting but i do expect to be set at a CLEAN table. The waiter arrived quickly and the food not long after, unfortunately the food runner mixed up the tables and brought us someone else's food. So i had to wait for my plate to be corrected and i hope the food she tried to give me made it to whoever ordered it. The food was good but there was inconvenience, we both got the hash on my plate it was probably 50% bell peppers and on my friends plate he had 3 pieces of bell pepper. Tells me this is all made a head and just scooped out of a serving pan, at least so some effort to portion it consistently would have helped. So as we ate the table next to us got up and they prepared it to be resettled. The waiter picked up the dishes and a hostess can over wiped the water off the table but only that area of the table not the entire table. Which means NOT SANATIZED total unexceptable in todays environment. We will stick with First Watch or Scott's...
