Super Bowl Sunday placed a to go order for about 6 entrees and 1 app. Food presentation was great when everything was unboxed. Everything ordered had lots of flavor and every portion was the perfect serving size. I would go deeper more into the great food but since this is a 3 star review I got tell everyone what made the experience go south. When I arrived to pick up this large order I asked if they offered to go margaritas. The hostess at check said she was new and didn't know the answer. She got someone and said yes I could. I needed to head to the bar and they would keep the already finished order at the hostess station. Great! Went to the bar but the bar tender said I couldn't place a to go order and that I need to go all the way to the other end of the restaurant to place the order. As he is yelling me this he is pointing in a unclear direction as if I was an employee. When asked where to go he walked me back to the hostess station. Can't make this up. Then after being bright back to the hostess she asked if I placed my order. I said no but I would like to place an order if it's possible. The hostess doing the trainer called the manager. When she did the manager skipped over the hostess request for help went to the bar then started cleaning all the open bar space. Standing there for a few minutes watching him at the hostess station he proceed to do a few other task before coming to ask what i needed, notice I say needed. I proceed to let him know the large to go order behind him was mine and ask if I could place an order for margaritas, he said yes and asked what I would like. We'll since I have 6 entrees I was unaware what they offered. The manager looked at me like a deer in head lights and kept repeating what I wanted. He never offered a menu so I asked what flavors they offered and what the serving size was and how much. Again no menu. His response was it's $20 dollars and had nothing more to say. Ok I asked, is that enough servings for one or two people. He replied he doesn't know. Again can't make this up. Needless to say if you dine in or eat out the food is great! The service is aweful. It's so aweful I will not return to this location due to poor management. This order by the way for 2 so as you can omage this is a large a erage ticket per person. My wife and I wanted to sample everything because our first dinning experience was ok but the food was amazing! 2 out of 2 experience with great food poor service.

Yo, After a long day of making bank in Biltmore, I found myself craving a feast that money alone could satisfy. That's when I headed straight to Blanco Cocina + Cantina, knowing they'd have the goods to quell my hunger pangs. And let me tell you, they hit liquid gold with their golden queso cheese, dropping faster than the tech market. When the traditional style nachos arrived, I couldn't help but appreciate the effort put into their presentation. A solid 4 chips out of 5 for the arrangement that made my mouth water in anticipation of the flavor explosion to come. Now, let's talk about the chips themselves. With a satisfying crunch and a delicious flavor, they definitely held their own. Gotta give them a solid 4 chips out of 5 for their performance. As for the nacho establishment vibe, it may not have been the ritziest joint in town, but it had its charm. A decent 4 chips out of 5, giving off that laid-back vibe that's alright for a chill nacho session with the bros. Let's not forget about ingredient quality. Fresh ingredients, quality flavors, and that golden queso cheese flowing like a river of wealth. It was a nacho experience fit for a banker bro. And finally, the protein. Oh man, the short rib was a winner. Tender, succulent, and priced at a short sell, it brought the nachos to a whole new level of awesomeness. A well-deserved 5 chips out of 5 for that game-changing protein. Taking all factors into consideration, I'd give these nachos an overall score of 4 and a half chips out of 5. Blanco Cocina + Cantina delivered a plate of nachos that satisfied my hunger and exceeded my expectations. So if you're looking for a nacho fix that's worth every dollar, this is the place to be. It's a tasty investment you won't regret. #nachohonchos #nachos #nachoreview #instafood #foodstagram #foodreview #foodie #nachorecipe Phoenix #travel #biltmore

First and last visit. Wanted to try something new so stopped by a little after 1:00 on a Thursday. Got seated quickly, but that is about the only good thing about the meal. Took a while for the waiter to show up, but then we ordered a street corn appetizer, a taco salad and a chicken tinga chimichanga. And then we waited, and waited, and waited some more. After entirely too long our meal arrived, as in the appetizer arrived with the main course! Why do restaurants think this is okay? The corn was good, but the taco salad hardly had anything besides lettuce, and the chicken tinga chimi was mostly beans and cheese, very little chicken. And why do they give you beans (and white rice!) as a side if your chimi is mostly beans? So, after fighting with rather persistent flies (always a classy touch), my wife needed to go to the bathroom. Another staff member told her she had to go down the stairs to it. My wife couldn't walk the stairs so she assumed she was out of luck. The staff didn't tell her there was an elevator! So I took her back down in her wheelchair, and when we got back the table was cleared!!! My gloves that I had left at the table were gone as well. Guess they wanted us out of there as we hadn't finished yet! When we talked to the manager on the way out, I found the gloves, but the manager wasn't very apologetic for our rough meal. We just left, wondering why people seemed to love this place so much.

My now-husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at this restaurant, and it was an absolute hit with us and our guests! The food was great, the people were excellent and the venue itself is visually lovely with plenty of spaces for photo-ops.

The event coordinators for Blanco are absolutely fabulous and are super detail-oriented, which put this little bride-to-be’s mind at ease! Tawnya was willing to be as hands-on as I needed her to be, from deciding dinner timelines to designating food stations and even allowing us to come early to set up gifts. The evening went exactly as we had described and went without any hiccups!

We rented out the Private Cantina room for our party of roughly 55 people, and it was the perfect size. It was like we had an entire mini restaurant to ourselves! It was the perfect environment for us to have conversations with people without having to worry that the music was too loud or that we were too close to other diners.

You can’t go wrong with any of the meal options that Blanco has to offer. We went with one of the plated party packages which gave our guests a good amount of choices to pick from even if they had any dietary restrictions. The guacamole and queso is fresh and delicious and kept our guests running up for me! We decided to end the night on a churro and chocolate bar which was the perfect end to a perfect night of dining.

The wait staff here is also friendly, quick and efficient. Nobody was ever without a drink in their hand and any used plates were immediately removed from the table as soon as a guest was finished eating. I don’t know how, but this team managed to get meal orders for almost 55 people taken and plated in record setting time!

We loved having our rehearsal dinner at Blanco at the Biltmore and we couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone who is interested in having some great food, alcohol and a fun time with family and friends. We will definitely host more events here...

My wife and I have been looking for a some good Mexican/TexMex food since we moved to Phoenix. Finally found a good place!! The shopping area this place is in is very nice. Valet parking for $7 which I found to be reasonable. The hostesses were very friendly when we walked up and welcomed us. We were seated right away. The waiter was amazing the whole time. He first showed us the happy hour menu and the good deals they had during Happy Hour. I went with the house margarita on the rocks and my wife had the mixed berry margarita on the rocks for $5 each. I really liked the house margarita because they use fresh lime juice and no mixes. My wife loved her margarita. We also tried the dip plate for $3 during Happy Hour. It was beans, guacamole and queso. It was a nice starter. Not the best queso I've had but better than all the other places I've tried so far in Phoenix. We didn't know and I guess the waiter wasn't paying attention to the time. Happy hour had already ended when we ordered. He said it was his fault and those drinks and appetizer were for the happy hour price. That was very nice of him. I went on to order the Carna Asada burrito with jalapeños and my wife got three street tacos, Carnitas, bbq Pork and chipotle shrimp. Her favorite was the chipotle shrimp. She subbed rice for street corn and thought it was good too. I got the black beens and rice. Loved the rice. The beans were ok. They didn't skimp on the jalapeños. My burrito was loaded with jalapeños and steak. Tasted great and spicy! I also tried the jalapeño infused tequila margarita. One of the Best spicy margarita I've had. For being upscale the prices were responsible. Our total was $85 for 3 rounds of margaritas, the app and our dinners. The bathrooms are down stairs. The do have an elevator if needed. The bathroom was modern and very clean. We will be back for sure. I...
