So I wish I could say this was a review about the gelato but it never even got that far. I walked in and the girl behind the counter just kind of looks at me. So I said to her “I’ve never been here before, just looking at the flavors” thinking I’d get some kind of run down about their gelato or even just a response.. Nothing. So I continued to look. A minute later she says to me with an attitude “are you going to clean up after your dog?” I was completely confused and asked what she was talking about. So she points to an area outside and tells me she saw my dog go to the bathroom there. Meanwhile, my girlfriend was outside with my 2 dogs at a table on the COMPLETE OPPOSITE side of where she was pointing to. I said that to her and tried explaining that we hadn’t even walked past to that end of the patio yet. But to no avail, she continues to argue with me and insists that’s what she saw. At that point, I was about to lose my cool so I told her she was rude and walked out. I’ve literally never experienced something like that in my life. I really hope this isn’t how they normally treat their customers. After I calmed down I called the store and asked to speak with her manager. She transfers me over and I explain to him what happened. He apologized and said he’d take care of it. Doubt anything will come of it, though. I should’ve gotten her name but I was so mad that I had to walk away. Only way to describe her is a younger Asian girl.

I’m still stunned. It’s funny because my girlfriend is the leasing manager at an apartment complex nearby and refers current/potential residents over there often.

Not anymore. I asked the manager for the corporate number but he told me he didn’t know it so I’ll just google it myself and call....

NOT NUT ALLERGY FRIENDLY. I’ll start by saying my friends really enjoyed their gelato, and even the sample I had was very tasty, so if you don’t have a nut allergy I would encourage you to go! However, I am allergic to tree nuts. I’m not severely allergic, and have never been bothered by being in the presence of tree nuts, as long as I’m not eating them myself. My friends frequently have trail mix or nutella near me with no issue. I walked in, waited in line, and tried a sample of the toasted marshmallow. I asked if there were any nuts in it, and the worker said no. It was delicious! I got a small cup of that, but after paying realized I was beginning to have an allergic reaction. My eyes watered, my throat got very tight, and my lips started to swell. I went up to the counter and double checked there were no nuts, so I’d know if I needed my epipen. The cashier confirmed, nope, no nuts in the marshmallow! I left my gelato with my friends and walked to the bathroom, where I threw up. After a few minutes, I was dizzy but feeling much better. The second time I walked in, it hit me like a truck. The smell and presence of tree nuts washed over me and I felt my throat immediately tighten up. We moved outside, but my appetite was gone so I just ended up tossing my gelato. If you have a nut allergy, peanuts as well since they have peanut flavors, this is not the place for you. Like I said, I’ve never had a reaction like that just from the air, so I would be extremely careful if you have a sensitivity to anything in...

Best place for gelato in this town. For years I had to make the trek up to Vegas to get it. Then Gelato shops started showing up in Phoenix. Then the best tasting ever opened, Frost, but it was somewhere around Chandler. I was told they were looking for a spot in central Phoenix. Finally when it opened I was estatic. Their flavors were to die for. I found a flavor that I just cannot do without and buy it by the quart. I won't tell you the flavor as I don't want them running out of it as they occasionally do. All the flavors are really true to taste. You can close your eyes and think you are actually eating what it tastes like. I love the location at the Biltmore. It is so alive and energenic. Most of the year it is a great place to eat your gelato outside where they have a number of tables. Then someone actually comes around to each table and provides you with a glass of water. You really need this between tastes to clean your palate and enjoy the flavor of your gelato. When you get your gelato to go they pack it in ice so it makes it home without becoming gelato soup. The employees are great and so friendly. The atmosphere and location couldn't be better. You couldn't ask for a better experience. OK I better go now as it is time to pick up...

The perfect place for dessert ANYTIME! The flavors are fresh, well thought out, and very tasty. There is a flavor or combo of flavors for you. I tasted the Lotus Cookie Butter, Strawberries & Champagne, Pineapple, Espresso Chip. All flavors were delish but I eventually landed on Cookie Butter and Pineapple! Clarissa was super friendly and helpful to give details about the flavors and what they’re made of. For example, the Strawberries & Champagne is made with a full bottle of bubbles and then topped off at the end so the gelato itself is fizzy. The atmosphere is perfect for a get together or first date. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to get quality gelato and sorbet desserts.

What an excellent place to stop for some gelato after getting a bite to eat, right in the beautiful Camelback East corridor. They offer a wide variety to choose from, and you don't have to limit yourself to what you can eat then and there. Order a pint or quart to take home. From flavors like pineapple, cheesecake, mango & strawberry to traditional carmel, chocolates, etc. you can't go wrong here. Delicious! There's a small seating area inside but some tables outside on the walkway are available.

They have many delightful flavors and are generous in letting you taste them. I chose a piccolo espresso chip. The texture was sublime. I used to live in Italy and I thought that theirs was the most authentic and delicious gelato that I have ever had stateside. At $6.40 including tax it is very expensive but worth the splurge. They have tables inside and outside so you can rest and cool off. I would return for more flavors.
