I reluctantly came back to this place since my first and last experience was horrible. This was no different.
I arrived at 550pm, sat at the bar and ordered a well done burger with fries at 555pm. Now it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to bring that out...so how about 15, 20 or even 25 minutes...nope still not here. At 620 I asked for it to go since I had no idea it would be taking this long. The burger came out at 625pm. That's 30 minutes for a hamburger. It's in the bag and as soon as I get in the car I dig into the sweet potatoe fries. Nice and cold. Good thing I ordered regular fries as well since they were hot and tasty. The burger...remember I ordered it well done...same thing as last time...it was so pink in the middle...it was gross and I had no choice but to throw it out.
The service...aside from taking the order and bringing me my beer it was like nobody was there. The bartender lacked any sort of courtesy towards me. No acknowledgement of the excessive wait for a burger, no manners. She just seemed annoyed but the guy next to me...she was engaged with him but he wasn't waiting forever for a burger either.
Last time I was there the burger was just as disappointing and there was pager from a straw in my beer. No apologies, no remedies, so I'm no longer going to try it. Waste of my time and money. Ok happy with all the other FOX Concepts establishments but this one is a huge fail.
The lack of consideration from management and employees is unacceptable. A manager or the bartender at the least should have acknowledged the excessive wait time...no...when I asked for it to go (since I hadn't received it yet) she seemed annoyed. After I asked for it to go you would have thought she'd bring me the bill...no...had to ask for that as well. She was annoyed with that request too. No smile, still no apology for the wait and a lackluster attitude really amplified my discontent for this experience.
I eat out pretty much every day. There are so many options and this one has been so bad I feel like an idiot for giving it another shot. Never again. Plus.. Having murals of cows is morbid. Here's a picture of your food before we slaughter it...and undercook it.
I gave an extra star because the beer was good and it was served in a...

For a while they were shrinking! Adding back a star, but still not 5 because of the experience below.
What happened? This has been my favorite burger place for years, but my last visit was a huge disappointment. We went for happy hour before seeing a movie. The place was half full at 5:30. The awkward hostess, after we asked for a table, looked in a book and then looked up and asked if we had a reservation.
I was kind of taken aback. This is not the kind of restaurant you make a reservation for. We don't make reservations for Shake Shack either. We told her no and she took us to a table in front of the waiter station where servers would be standing over us the whole time. I asked for another table and was told there were none. I pointed to an empty two top across the aisle and said, "how bout that one?" "Oh, that one is reserved." Okaaaaaay. Just like all the other empty tables. Whatever. We sat at the bar.
The bartender was fixated on a female at the end of the bar. It was comical how we he kept being magnetically pulled back to that end of the bar. We asked to try a beer. Usually, the bartender will stand there and ask how you like it and then get you a beer. No. We got the sample and then had to wait until he finished up his conversation at the end of the bar to get served. Also, when our burgers came out, we let the runner know we were still owed fries. We were half done with the burgers before the fries came out. The bartender took back the tab he put in a glass. He forgot to put the order for fries in and had to update the bill. No apology or acknowledgement that he missed it.
As we ate we saw a single guy eating at the reserved table we wanted. I guarantee you he did not call and reserve a table for one.
The whole experience was just annoying and unnecessary. We left feeling very unwelcome. C'mon Zinburger. You are...
Read more*updated - went back & enjoyed the same meals but dined in & it was delicious! would recommend to dine in.
honestly i was not very impressed for what i spent on this meal with my boyfriend. we both ordered the el diablo with fries. i subbed for the beyond burger. i just wanted to look at the burger comparing it to his (being from ohio - this is hardly an option so i was curious the difference between ours) when i opened the bun there was a staple sitting right on the burger mixed in with the lettuce. the bag came to me stapled as i ordered online and used curbside pickup. i did not open the bag until i got home.
how a not used staple got on my burger i do not know? i feel really thankful that i opened my burger up or honestly i probably would’ve just ate it. said too he was happy i looked because he didn’t even look at his burger when he just started eating his!
honestly just not impressed for how much we spent on this one meal for us and to have a staple on top of the burger which is in its own box and then in a sealed bag that i didn’t even open at all until we made it home. very shocking. i will say the food was at least pretty delicious & curbside pickup...
