This was one of the worse experience in service ever!!! New Year's Day 1:30am only a few patrons at tables. When me and my husband walked in a gracious gentlemen host who actually looked like the manager was sitting us down and he told one of the waiters whos name starts with a (M---) with glasses to serve us and me and my husband seen him shake his head in a (No) manner as if he didn't want to serve us.Come to find out it was our waiter who actually was going to be servicing us.We were hoping that someone different was going too, seeing how his response to having to serve us was.But we took into consideration that he might have been joking. He was pleasant at first and he took the order.I ordered coffee for my drink and he brought it and I never seen him again until I finally had to ask for another cup and it was when my food showed up finally. This man forgot food off our order and my food was prepared wrong. The host fixed it for us and it still was wrong so I just said to myself let it be.Our server disappeared the whole time in a room where the coffee was located. You figure if you gonna stay where the coffee is you might as well ask if I want a refill. He was never to be seen from the time he set our food down made wrong and shorted what we had ordered.A nice waitress finally came to us and asked if we wanted our check.Mean while there was a waiter there bald guy hustling every table friendly attentive to peoples needs and he had over half the tables there serving them.Upon paying our bill I told the host and that wonderful waiter that I wished he was helping us instead of the one that was helping us.The host/manger gentlemen gave 20% off our meal to salvage what our waiter had done. And for that we appreciated that very much. But as for an order being incorrectly done and our waiters avoidance it was poor-poor-poor!!! My husband and I are foodies and we tip handsomely anywhere we eat.I couldn't leave one cent to this order, and it even made me feel bad about doing so. If I was gunna tip anyone it would have been the bald waiter no disrespect towards that (I do not no the man's name who was serving the other tables) and the lady waitress with the purple colorful hat.We normally eat at this location seeing that were in this area but I'm hoping this will never happen again.Needless to say we were not satisfied with our services.I will be...
Read moreWe never actually got to eat here, so we couldn't tell you how the food was at all. Because the waitress was kind enough to feed a homeless man a meal while she waited for the crisis unit that she called to come pick him up. But when it came to us, she accused us of smoking drugs in the bathroom and literally after 1 minute of being in the restroom she came into the restroom and told my girlfriend to get out while she was in the bathroom stall finishing. When it was obvious the drug smell was coming from the men's restroom from the homeless man that was sleeping in the booth. I could tell immediately when I went into the men's restroom just to wash my hands before we eat. But she must have wanted a break or something, because she blamed it on us after using the restroom for literally 2 to 3 minutes and coming out seriously offended that she blamed us for the homeless man smoking drugs in the men's restroom. Then as we walked straight out after that and got in our car to go eat somewhere else, she felt the need to follow us outside and say rude comments to us again as we were driving away. So I politely stopped, rolled down the window, and asked what time he manager would be in tomorrow morning. Rolled the window back up, and drove away. The whole ordeal was completely surreal and offensive, and both my girlfriend and I could not believe what had just took place. We were stressed nicely and driving my Mercedes, so there seemed to be no reason to be treated that way. Especially because it was absolutely clear to her that the person smoking drugs in the bathroom was the homeless person passed out in the booth by the door, because she called the crisis unit to pick him up for fear that he might have overdosed. So she boxed a meal for him that he didn't pay for and waited for the unit to come get him. Unreal. She needs to get some kind of training on customer service for future customers, or the service there will only be poor and offensive until she quits...
Read moreDenny:s has always been a late-night go-to in my adult life. One of my daughters and I were hanging out catching up on things. She had a friend that she wanted me to meet so we picked her up and landed at Denny's just a few blocks away. The place was neat and orderly from the get-go. All seemed to be set for a nice visit and some much-needed nourishment. We were seated immediately and drink orders we're satisfied. Food was ordered without any problems and the three of us began to enjoy our time together. Shortly the waitress comes to the table and tells me that the cook prepared the wrong meal and asked did I want it any way? I ordered the Wild Alaskan Salmon. I did not order the Talapia. I expressed my desire to have the salmon and that I did not mind waiting for the right order. Back at the topic of our table, we were once again enjoying ourselves. Our waitress shows back up a few moments later with our order. I was presented with the vegetables and rice portion of my meal and was told in a tone that was what I would call "annoyed" that my fish would be right out. I understand that things happen in places like this and will as long as they are open. I get it. Please don't come to the table and act as if I were the one that cooked the wrong order in the first place. Alas, my rice and veggies we're stone cold. Disappointing! A brief moment slides by and the salmon arrives. Hot! I made mention to the server that the other sides we're cold and thanked her for the promptness on the salmon. No response from her about the cold food. Nothing. She dropped the check and spun away. At this point, I am not sure of what to think. Truthfully I was not even upset but this is also why you get what you pay for. After some discussion with the manager things, we're looking bright again and we drove off...
