Julioberto's Fresh Mexican Food — Restaurant in Phoenix

So I went there last weekend and had a grilled fish tortas and thought it was amazing.

So fast forward to today I went back and ordered the same thing. The guy was not customer oriented at all he took my order and when I got to the window he said 7 and some change. I paid and waited about 3-5 minutes for the food.

As I was pulling off I decided to double check because I smelled chicken and as a pescatarian I don’t eat chicken or any other meat aside from fish. I opened the bag and it was oily soggy French fries and chicken. So I had to go back, park my car and go inside. I explained to the guy that I don’t eat chicken and that it was chicken he was like oh ok.

So I sat down and waited. Finally I got the food. As I was heading out I realized the price for the tortas on the menu was 5.99. I asked him to charge me the proper amount and that is when he gave me a dollar and some change back. He didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience.He made it seem as if I was bothering them when in fact I’m the customer that went to the drive thru for convenience but still had to go inside.

So I got home and i opened my meal just to find out that he didn’t remake the food but instead removed the chicken from the bun and added fish. That was just gross. A fish sandwich with pieces and chicken residue on there yuck

Sad to say I’m disappointed, irritated, hungry and...

Iv'e eaten here more than a few times, and almost every time ive regreted it... you see every once in a while i get the urge for filiburtos, and due to proximity i come here. however this is not a filiburtos its not even close. The food is super greasy and bland, the order takers are rude and unhelpful and the cheffs have completely checked. Im forced to leave a review today, I should have taken a pic of my taco, there was a giant circular cut in it, the meat was old and hardend, and the lettuce was thrown on top no cheese, and the shell it tasted oddly like peanut butter. The cashier basically refused to even entertain the thought of helping the african american couple behind me cause the young woman of the couple didnt know the name of the dish she wanted and tried hard to explain it, before leaving due to getting absolutely 0 care from the cashier. Before that when i asked about specials she acted like i should already know and resisted telling me, there were no signs of specials for tuesday btw. Overall...0/10 Go abit further to Filiburtos, its worth...

I've been living around this place for about 4 years now and let me say the first year it was really good their meat was good they're nachos supreme everything was good but it seems like the more I'm around that place they get worse and worse each year the last time I got there nacho supreme I was very disappointed because that was ground beef not real carne asada like other places have when I say carne asada nachos I expected carne asada not ground beef and it's not a off day they're having it seems that they're getting worse and worser each time I go I'm at the point where I would drive 10 miles to eat some other Mexican place then that place even though I live right next to it zero stars for this place lucky I even have to give it a star after four year NASTY! needs to work on their food services again and don't let me get me started about their attitude real disrespectful place they messed up on my card twice they charged me double and they didn't want to refund me one time it was a hassle go somewhere else because that place is horrible...
