Lakeside Cafe — Restaurant in Phoenix

Open Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm. Jesus from Sinaloa, Mexico is the small business owner and proprietor. The establishment is very clean and spacious, and mainly serves the businesses in the Lakeside Park complex. Cafe is straight back from the main entrance, go slightly left of the entryway. Nice outdoor atmosphere with water features and shade. All fresh food with a daily special. Monday is homemade tamales, which according to Jesus he makes in the Sinoloa tradition. These 2 are the largest I've seen and use the best tasting and textured masa. I've have noticed that the food lacks seasoning, it's getting more common these days because of individual tastes. So you could ask for salt and pepper added while cooking, and there's a basket of seasoning by the coffee bar where you'll find the plastic cutlery. It’s out of the way and hard to find but when you get here it’s cozy and the owners are very accommodating when it comes to the menu it does take a little bit longer since it’s just mom and pop to get your food/order so if you don’t hurry make sure you call it in for pick up otherwise you’ll be waiting a little bit longer than the normal time compared to Village Inn or IHOP or any other breakfast restaurant. By the way the owner she makes delicious latte’s. The entrance to the restaurant it’s towards the backside of the office building on the first floor right in front of the courtyard so you can eat your breakfast inside or outside. Who in gods earth wrote a good review for this place? Supposed to be a coffee shop/cafe I googled coffee near me and this place had 4.8 stars so I said bet! Couldn't find it cuz it's in an office complex. Ok whatever. Go in there is nobody in there. Finally guy walks in and says what's up. My exact words " I need a drink big and strong and sweet and cold" he pointed me to the vending machine of bittled frappucino drinks.
